Brancaia Grappa Brancaia GRAPPA is the result of the distillation of the best grape marc of the estate. This elegant Grappa is a modern and complex interpretation of the traditional Grappa culture. The ageing in French barriques makes it smooth and gives this Grappa its warm amber colour. Blend: Sangiovese, Merlot and a small proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon Alcohol: Must contact: 43 vol% Immediately after arrival at the distillery, the pomace is distilled in several stages in three vapour flasks of copper. This reflects traditional, artisanal methods and guarantees best quality. The resulting high-proof distillate is aged in oak barrels. Maturing: In barriques (225 litres) of French oak Time of maturing: 12 months Formats: 0.2L, 0.5L First year of production: Perfect with: 2001 Perfect to round off a wonderful evening.
