Il casco va considerato un sistema di sicurezza progettato e costruito per assorbire, in caso di impatto, la maggior quantità possibile
di energia. Il casco non deve proteggere se stesso, ma chi lo utilizza. Il casco è composto da molti componenti tutti importanti e tutti

È la parte esterna del casco, può essere fatta in
materiali leggeri e pregiati come il carbonio, la fibra
para-aramide o la fibra di vetro (fibre composite) o
con materiali termoplastici più economici come l’abs
e il policarbonato. La calotta in fibre composite viene
realizzata fissando in uno stampo fibre di vetro,
para-aramide, o carbonio in diverse proporzioni con
l’ausilio di speciali resine termoindurenti.
Una volta stampata, la calotta viene:
• Tagliata manualmente oppure con speciali robot
a getto d’acqua
• Stuccata
• Verniciata. In questa fase vengono applicati i
loghi e/o le grafiche tramite decalco ad acqua
• Assemblata cioè unita una calotta interna

The shell is the outer part of the helmet. It may
be made of precious, lightweight materials such as
carbon, para-aramid or fibreglass (fibre composites)
or of less expensive thermoplastics, such as ABS
and polycarbonate.
Fibre composite shells are manufactured by
placing glass, para-aramid or carbon fibres in
different proportions in a mould, together with
special thermosetting resins.
The moulded shell is then:
• Cut manually or using special water-cutting robots
• Coated with a layer of primer
• Painted. During this phase the water decals with
logos and/or graphics are applied
• Assembled, with an impact-absorbent inner shell
and completed with a comfortable inner padding

The Ducati Corse Carbon fiber helmet by Arai is the ultimate accessory for the
Ducatista who has everything: it is one of the most special helmets ever offered
to the motorcycling community. Each outer shell consists of no less than eleven
carefully applied carbon fiber layers, it is a mixture of aircraft quality premium
carbon fibre with Arai’s own resin plus Zylon reinforcement. Every Ducati Corse
Carbon helmet is hand built by a single Arai craftsman and then hand painted
with the signature and the Ducati Corse graphics. On Corsair-V RC (US, RX-7
RC ECE & RX-7 RC JAP ). DOT helmets for the US, Canada and Mexico are not
available with customized logos.

medical workers can easily remove the newly designed removable neck roll
and the cheek pads by just pulling the pad release tabs. This offers extra room
within the helmet, making removal of the helmet much easier and minimizing
the risk of additional injury.

In Stabilizer’’, an additional air intake between the front and rear intake in the
diffuser and large toggles. The Air-In ports help accelerate air out the back,
increasing airflow without increasing the size of the holes in the shell. This
new diffuser guides more air in and more air out, using aero dynamic design
instead of simply making bigger holes or larger, and therefore noisier and less
aero dynamic vents. The reshaped Delta Duct 5 air intake increases air flow
and lowers noise levels. Thanks to this new ventilation system, interior temperatures are lowered much faster than with previous versions.

and modifications to the absorbent lining.
Movement is the key word to apply to the Ducati Corse SBK2 model. Inspired by
speed, the layout gives ample space to the white and red colors and Ducati logo
that frame the double visor Pro Shade System on the Chaser V-Pro shell, ensuring greater resistance and lightness for a look characterized by the high impact

The rear outlet vent ensures more effective
air extraction for improved ventilation.
The three-way air inlet on the chin guard (with
anti-fogging function), the lower side air inlets
and the extractor in the neck roll increase the
flow of fresh air into the helmet. The air vents
on the visor convey fresh air to the forehead
area with no need to make holes in the outer
shell or in the shock-proof layer.
