da una controbilanciatura in plancia di legno massello di 4,3 mm, a cui è demandato il compito di
controbilanciare e garantire la massima stabilità strutturale delle tavole.
Exclusive 2-layer engineered wide planks are made up of a 4,5mm thick Oak hardwood top layer
and of a supporting multilayers birch plywood, 8,6mm, composed by a particular structure with 7
cross-layers, which guarantees the maximum product stability.

limits: indeed, we go one better with a concentration of

the legal requirement and well within the limits prescribed
for class E1 products (formaldehyde concentration not to
exceed 0.1 ppm).

con una maggiore precisione nell’incastro tra i singoli elementi, con
tavole caratterizzate da una maggiore stabilità. La colla inserita nelle
sottili stratificazioni di betulla, inoltre, permette di creare una barriera
all’umidità, impedendo qualsiasi deformazione una volta conclusa la
posa.
The birch plywood structure allows us to obtain high precision joints for
a perfect assembling of the wooden elements granting wide planks with
better stability. The glue used among the thin birch layers, creates a
moisture barrier, preventing any floor deformation after the installation.

disposti in senso trasversale rispetto all’andamento delle fibre dello
strato nobile in modo da garantire la giusta flessibilità strutturale, e
da una controbilanciatura in plancia di legno di pioppo di 2 mm, a cui
è demandato il compito di controbilanciare e garantire la massima
stabilità delle tavole.

CONTROLLO DEL MATERIALE
Il materiale deve essere controllato alla consegna. L’utilizzo o la vendita da parte del compratore costituiscono riconoscimento della sua corrispondenza a
quanto pattuito. Nel caso che eventuali difetti si evidenziassero durante la posa, il compratore dovrà immediatamente sospenderla informando subito il
fornitore, pena la decadenza di ogni diritto.
Gli obblighi del fornitore non possono andare oltre quelli della sostituzione del materiale riconosciuto difettoso.
ISTRUZIONI PRIMA DELLA POSA
Conservare le confezioni di tavolato in ambienti asciutti e puliti. Aprire le confezioni solo al momento della posa, assicurandosi che nei locali la temperatura
sia di almeno 15°C e che l’umidità relativa dell’aria sia compresa tra i 45% e 65%.Il piano di posa deve essere: protetto da infiltrazioni di umidità e da
formazione di condensa; asciutto, con un contenuto di umidità residua non superiore a 2,0% per massetti cementizi e a 0,5% per massetti di anidride
(determinato con apparecchio CM secondo UNI 10329); solido; compatto; rigido; piano e pulito senza formazione di polverosità superficiale. Per la posa su
massetti riscaldanti attenersi alle particolari prescrizioni. Per la posa su superfici ceramiche o di marmo preesistenti, effettuare una idonea preparazione
delle superfici. Non posare su supporti con residui di vecchie colle.
ISTRUZIONI PER LA POSA
Durante la posa prelevare i listoni da diversi pacchi contemporaneamente per avere una resa cromatica omogenea.
Controllare accuratamente la compattezza e la buona livellatura del massetto nonché l’umidità del sottofondo e dell’ambiente.
Ai lati della stanza bisogna provvedere a lasciare una fessura di circa 10 mm (che viene poi coperta dal battiscopa) per permettere al legno di esercitare la
naturali dilatazioni dopo la posa.
La colla non deve essere spalmata ai lati dei listelli bensì sul sottofondo, possibilmente a righe in senso trasversale con una spatola a denti triangolari.
Utilizzare esclusivamente adesivi specifici per pavimenti prefiniti, seguendo le istruzioni del fabbricante.
Durante la fase di posa si deve procedere a ripulire subito e senza strofinare il pavimento da eventuali residui di colla. Si raccomanda di non lasciare
catalizzare la colla in quanto la rimozione, con ripetuto strofinio della superficie, può provocare danni al pavimento (aloni).
A posa ultimata, ripulire tutto il pavimento in modo da non lasciare nessuna traccia di colla o altro.
CONDIZIONI DI POSA E DI MANTENIMENTO DEL PARQUET: UMIDITà: 45/65 %
TEMPERATURA: 18-22° C
ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO E PER LA MANUTENZIONE
Il legno è un materiale naturale e vivo, perciò esso tende ad acclimatarsi alle diverse condizioni ambientali subendo deformazioni se esse sono innaturali
od estreme. Il tavolato in relazione con le sue particolari dimensioni molto grandi in lunghezza e soprattutto in larghezza è sottoposto a possibili rilevanti
deformazioni se non conservato adeguatamente. Il pavimento di legno, se ben mantenuto e rispettato nelle sue caratteristiche, saprà ricompensarvi con un
ambiente caldo, confortevole, elegante.
Esso è molto duraturo e permette di essere facilmente rinnovato, dopo molti anni di uso.
Per il suo migliore mantenimento esso richiede alcune precauzioni:
• 1 Conservare nell’ambiente una temperatura di 18°C/+22°C, mai inferiore a +10°C.
• 2 L’umidità relativa dell’aria ambientale deve normalmente essere compresa tra il 45% ed il 65%.
Umidità più alta fa dilatare il legno; umidità più bassa lo fa restringere e fessurare. In inverno si consiglia di controllare l’umidità se troppo secca, fare
uso di umidificatori d’aria.
• 3 Evitare di caricare con grossi pesi concentrati piccole porzioni di pavimento.
• 4 Nel periodo dopo la consegna evitare di coprire con tappeti od altro, allo scopo di evitare stonalizzazioni a causa di localizzata mancata ossidazione
alla luce.
• 5 Nel caso di impianto di riscaldamento a pavimento fare attenzione alla taratura dell’impianto, prevedendo una temperatura massima di esercizio del
fluido riscaldante di circa + 30°C. La temperatura del pavimento non deve comunque essere superiore ai +27°C, confermando le condizioni dei punti 1 e 2.
Le eventuali fessurazioni del pavimento che si sviluppano nel tempo, sono dovute esclusivamente alla progressiva disidratazione (essiccazione)
del legno e non sono imputabili a difetto di posa o del prodotto.
• 6 Prevedere all’ingresso dell’abitazione uno zerbino mantenuto pulito, per allontanare dalle suole delle scarpe polvere e particelle abrasive.
Prestare attenzione ad eventuali animali domestici.
• 7 Non bagnare, evitare gli spargimenti d’acqua.
ISTRUZIONI PER LA PULIZIA
Se verniciato: il pavimento ha ricevuto un trattamento superficiale protettivo, che se ben curato, manterrà le sue caratteristiche per lungo tempo,
preservando il legno dall’usura e dalla sporcizia e ne manterrà nel tempo caratteristiche e bellezza.
Si consiglia:
• Ordinariamente di rimuovere la polvere con appositi panni attira-polvere, con scopa a frange o con aspirapolvere
• Abitualmente pulire il pavimento con panno umido e ben strizzato con acqua e detersivo neutro tipo BRT-DET.
Non bagnare.
Non usare alcol, ammoniaca o solventi che possano danneggiare la verniciatura.
N.B. Tutti i prodotti per la pulizia e per la manutenzione devono essere usati secondo le istruzioni dei fabbricanti.
Il legno è un prodotto naturale ed è pertanto impossibile trovare elementi tra loro perfettamente uguali e di conseguenza identici al campione eventualmente
visionato al momento dell’acquisto. Nel tempo il legno subisce viraggi di colore dovuti alla sua naturale ossidazione.

GOODS INSPECTION
The material has to be checked upon receipt of the goods. The use of the material by the buyer witnesses for his acknowledgment that the same complies with
the order confirmation. Should defects become visible during the installation, the buyer shall immediately stop it and promptly inform the supplier, otherwise
there will be the forfeiture of all his rights. The supplier liabilities cannot go beyond the replacement of the defective material.
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION
Keep the planks packaged and stored in a dry and clean environment. Open the packages just before the installation, making sure that the environmental
temperature is at least 15°C with the relative humidity level being between 45% and 65%. The subfloor has to be sheltered from environmental humidity
infiltration and from condensation development; dry, with a remaining humidity level not higher than 2% for cement screeds and 0.5% for anhydride
screeds (measured with the CM instrument in conformity with the standard UNI 10329); solid; sound; without cracks; leveled; clean; dry and not powdery. For
installation on underfloor heating systems follow the specific rules. For installation on pre-existing ceramic or marble tiles a proper subfloor preparation is
necessary. Do not install on subfloors with old glue traces.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
During the installation phase the wooden floor elements have to be taken out at the same time from the different packs, in order to have a uniform chromatic result.
The subfloor must be clean, sound, well level and dry. It’s necessary to verify the moisture content of the subfloor and the environment.
An expansion joint of about 10mm should be left along the floor’s perimeter (which will be covered by the skirting board) to allow the wood flooring natural
expansion during settlement.
The glue must be spread only on the subfloor possibly in work lines perpendicular to the sense of the wood strip/plank to each other with a notched trowel
and not the on sides of the strips/planks.
Use exclusively specific adhesives for pre-finished engineered wooden floors, following the manufacturer’s instructions.
During the installation phase eventual glue traces on the wooden floor surface must be immediately removed without rubbing the wooden floor surface.
It’s recommended to not let catalyse the glue, because the removing of the same with continuos rubbing of the surface could damage the floor (shiny spots).
After the installation the wooden floor surface has to be well cleaned, removing all glue spots or further dirt contamination.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE WOODEN FLOOR: HUMIDITY: 45%-65%;
TEMPERATURE 18-22° C.
USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
The wood is a natural and live material and is subject to natural deformations. In case the environmental conditions are not those mentioned
above, there could be deformations of the wooden elements . In particular, the wide planks due to their big dimensions, could be subject to extreme
deformations, if not properly stored. The wooden floor, if well maintained, will reward you with a warm, elegant and comfortable atmosphere.
For best maintenance of your wooden floors some care is necessary:
• 1 Keep an environmental temperature between +18°C and +22 °C, never below +10°C.
• 2 The environmental relative humidity level has to be between 45% and 65%. Humidity levels over the one above mentioned may cause woodswelling;
lower humidity levels may cause gaps and shrinkage between elements. During winter, it is suggested to check the environmental humidity and, in case it is
too dry, make use of an air moistener.
• 3 Avoid to overload small areas of the wooden floors.
• 4 Just after the installation, in order to have a uniform wooden oxidation, we suggest to avoid covering the floor with any kind of carpets or similar items.
• 5 In case of installation on heating floor system pay attention to its adjustment and functioning with a maximum heating temperature of the liquid in
the pipes of about +30°C, so that the wooden floor temperature does not exceed +27°C, confirming the conditions mentioned in the points 1 and 2. Eventual
gaps, that could appear between the floor elements, are due to a progressive shrinkage caused by wood dehydration, and shall not be considered as defects.
• 6 Put a clean doormat outside the main entrance and before walking on the floor pay attention to remove dust and abrasive particles from shoes soles in
order to avoid scratches or damage on the floor surface. Pay attention to pets in the House.
• 7 Damp mop the floor only. Be sure to avoid excessive amounts of water (see cleaning instructions below).
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Lacquered surface: The wooden floor has received a protective surface lacquer, that has to be well maintained. This protecting finishing will
preserve the wood floor from wear and dirt while keeping its characteristics and beauty.
We suggest you:
• Regularly remove dust with a suitable anti-dust cloth, a mop or a vacuum cleaner.
• Regularly clean the floor with a well wrung cloth, using water and a neutral soap such as BRT DET.
• Do not use alcohol, ammonia or other solvents that could damage the finishing.
• Do not drench the floor.
PLEASE NOTE: All the cleaning and maintenance products have to be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Wood is a natural material therefore it is impossible to find elements equal to the samples shown and examined by the purchase. During time the wood will
darken due to its natural oxidation.

Il cliente risponderà di ogni danno al materiale dovuto a cattiva conservazione o negligenza. Il cliente ha in
questo caso tutti gli obblighi del depositario. La VEPAL e la Berti non assumono responsabilità per danni
al materiale conseguenti o susseguenti alla posa in opera dello stesso.
F - RECLAMI
Il collaudo del materiale dovrà essere fatto all’arrivo dello stesso. Eventuali contestazioni, comprese quelle
relative al grado di umidità, colore e tonalità, dovranno essere sollevate con raccomandata a.r. entro otto
giorni dal ricevimento della merce, e comunque prima dell’inizio della posa in opera. L’utilizzazione del
materiale da parte del compratore costituisce Suo riconoscimento che lo stesso è perfetto, nonchè rinuncia
a qualsiasi contestazione. Il compratore, qualora eventuali difetti si evidenziassero durante la posa, dovrà
immediatamente sospenderla, informando contestualmente la Vepal e Berti, pena la decadenza di ogni
suo diritto. Gli obblighi della Vepal e Berti non potranno andare oltre al ritiro e sostituzione del materiale
riconosciuto difettoso. Eventuali reclami o contestazioni non danno diritto all’acquirente di sospende re o
ritardare i pagamenti.
G - CAMPIONI
I campioni valgono come indicazione di massima e non come assoluta identità e tonalità, sono puramente
indicativi e mai impegnativi, potendosi riscontrare nelle varie partite differenze di venature, colore e
dimensioni essendo il legno un materiale naturale.
H - PREZZI
Qualora prima della consegna della merce si siano verificati aumenti del costo della mano d’opera o delle
materie prime, ivi compresi i noli, i trasporti, i dazi doganali e i cambi valutari, il venditore avrà diritto alla
revisione del prezzo nella misura corrispondente alla entità e alla incidenza dei predetti aumenti, salva la
facoltà per l’acquirente di recedere dal contratto qualora detti aumenti risultassero per lui troppo onerosi, con
sua rinuncia comunque a qualsiasi pretesa di risarcimento danni o altro nei confronti del venditore. I prezzi
del presente listino DEVONO INTENDERSI AL NETTO DI IVA e per merce RESA FRANCO. PARTENZA. Il
contributo SPESE di TRASPORTO solo valido in Italia è addebitato in fattura agli importi indicati in listino (sul
CONTRIBUTO SPESE di TRASPORTO, IN ITALIA non è applicato nessuno sconto).
I - PAGAMENTI
I pagamenti sono validi solo se fatti direttamente alla Vepal o alla Berti, secondo le modalità pattuite; il
pagamento convenuto mediante cambiali o RI.BA. sempre considerato sussidiario e non sposta la competenza
territoriale.
L - INSOLVENZA
Al primo mancato o ritardato pagamento di una rata convenuta in contratto l’acquirente decaderà
automaticamente dal beneficio del termine e la Vepal o la Berti, potrà agire alternativamente a sua
insindacabile scelta o per l’intera differenza residua o per la risoluzione contestuale ed immediata del
contratto.

I termini di consegna si intendono indicativi. VEPAL e BERTI non intercorreranno in alcuna responsabilità nel caso di spedizione della merce oltre il termine consentito. Il materiale ordinato sarà stoccato in giacenza a
magazzino per un periodo massimo di 60 gg. dalla data di conferma dell’ordine. Se entro questo periodo di
tempo il materiale non verrà ritirato, la Vepal e la Berti applicheranno il diritto di svincolo, con successivi tempi
di consegna variabil in base alla disponibilità di magazzino.

GENERAL SALES CONDITIONS
A – ORDERS Orders placed through agents or representatives are subject to the acceptance from theCompany
Management.
B - DIMENSIONS
Top view dimensions, even if specified in the order confirmation, are understood to be approximate only.
C -Quantity
For almost all finishes, the minimum order quantity is 5 sq.ms. and 25 sq.ms. for the rest. See page 4 to page 7.
D - DELIVERIES
The delivery terms are understood to be approximate. VEPAL and BERTI will never be held liable in
case of goods shipped after the agreed terms. The ordered material will be stored in VEPAL’s and
BERTI’s warehouse for a maximum period of 60 days from the date of the order confirmation. If
within this term the goods will not be collected, VEPAL and Berti will apply the right of clearance.
In this case it has the right to give new delivery times on the basis of their next availability in the warehouse.
E - DAMAGESThe customer will be responsible for any and all damages due to improper storage or negligence. The
customer has, in this case, all the obligations belonging to a store keeper. VEPAL and Berti does not
undertake any liability for damages to the material arising from or because of the installation of the
same.
F – CLAIMS
The acceptance test on the material shall be performed upon its arrival. Possible claims therein included those
relating to the moisture content, to the colour and to the tonality shall be made in writing by registered letter
with receipt of delivery within 8 days from the date of goods receiving and in any case before installation.
The use of the material by the buyer witnesses for his acknowledgement that the same is perfect, as well as
to the waiver to raise claims of any nature. Should defects become visible during the installation, the buyer
shall immediately stop it, notifying at the same time the manufacturer or forfeit all his rights. The obligations
belonging to the manufacturer shall not exceed the return and replacement of the material acknowledged as
defective. Claims do not entitle the buyer to stop or delay payments.
G - SAMPLES
Colours and tonalities of samples are general representations of a species. They are merely indicative
and never binding since wood is a natural material. Therefore differences in grain, colours and
dimensions could be found comparing the samples with the different batches.
H - PRICES Should the costs for raw material and workmanship increase before the delivery, therein included freights,
shipment fees, custom duties, currency exchange rates, then the seller has the right to a price review in the
measure corresponding to the amount and the incidence of the aforementioned increases, except the right
for the buyer to withdraw from the contract in case said increases shall be too onerous for him, waiving to
any claim of damages refund or else against the seller.
All prices are intended without V.A.T. and EX WORKS.
The freight costs indicated on page 15 are valid only for deliveries in Italy.
On the freight costs no discount is applied.
I – PAYMENTS Payments are thought to be valid only if done to the registered office of the supplier, according to
the agreed terms.
L – INSOLVENCY Upon the first delayed or missed observance of an agreed payment installment, the buyer shall automatically
loose the advantage of the terms, and the manufacturer shall, at his unobjectionable choice, act for collecting
the whole remaining difference or for an immediate and contextual termination of the contract.
M - INTERESTS They are agreed upon at the current bank rate.
N - PLACE OF EXECUTION AND APPLICABLE LAW
For any and all controversies arising from or in relation with the contract the Court of Padova
Italy - shall have jurisdiction.
O - RETURNS We cannot accept returned goods.
P - FREIGHT The goods transportation is at risk and responsibility of the buyer. Therefore any and all damages or loss
of the goods shall be for the sole buyer’s account, who shall apply to the forwarding company for the
indemnification.
