KC-135 "Tambourine" type Intake Cover
I Tappi d'Ammissione del Motore (Engine Inlet Plugs) sono forniti su misura per le vostre prese in entrata Boeing 707, 720
(C-137 Stratoliner, E-3 Sentry AWACS), in materiale vinilico per servizio pesante e imbottiti con un singolo blocco di
schiuma uretanica scolpita. Ogni Tappo ha una cerniera che permette di rimuovere e asciugare la schiuma se necessario. I
tappi del motore hanno bandiere di avvertimento visibili dalla cabina o cartellini con "Rimuovere prima del volo" cuciti sui lati
frontali dei tappi. La maggior parte dei tappi sono ricamati con il numero di registrazione del velivolo in nero. I tappi per
motore possono essere inseriti dopo il volo quando il motore è ancora tiepido. I Tappi per gli ingressi del Motore (Engine
Inlet Plugs) sono normalmente chiamati Tappi della Cappottatura (Cowl Plugs), Tappi in entrata (Intake Plugs), Blocchi di
Cappottatura (Cowl Blocks), Blocchi motore (Engine Blocks) e Tappi Motore (Engine Bungs).
I Tappi per gli Scarichi Motore (Engine Exhaust Plugs) sono forniti su misura per i le vostre aperture per scarichi Boeing
707, 720 (C-137 Stratoliner, E-3 Sentry AWACS), in materiale vinilico pr servizio pesante e imbottiti con un singolo blocco di
schiuma uretanica scolpita. Ogni Tappo ha una cerniera che permette di rimuovere e asciugare la schiuma se necessario. I
tappi per gli scarichi hanno cartellini con "Rimuovere prima del volo" cuciti sul lato frontale del tappo. La maggior parte dei
tappi sono ricamati con il numero di registrazione del' velivolo in nero. I tappi per gli scarichi possono essere inseriti subito
dopo il volo quando il motore è ancora tiepido. I Tappi di ammissione del Motore (Engine Exhaust Plugs) sono
normalmente chiamati Tappi della Cappottatura (Cowl Plugs), Tappi in entrata (Intake Plugs), Blocchi di Cappottatura (Cowl
Blocks), Blocchi motore (Engine Blocks) e Tappi Motore (Engine Bungs).
I Riflettenti Interni di Scudi Termici (Heatshield Interior Reflectors) sono fatti di uno speciale laminato di strato sottile di
poliestere metallizzato e un espanso di schiuma a celle chiuse. Con meno di 1/8 di pollice di spessore (3mm), il Rriflettente

può essere arrotolato e messo in un manicotto, eppure, quando steso. è abbastanza rigido da rimanere contro il
parabrezza usando solo i parasoli e la cornice della finestra. In alcuni design non sono necessari né Velcro né ventose.
Gli scudi termici (Heatshields) sono un eccellente rimedio a breve termine per il surriscaldamento della cabina, ma utilizzate
la Copertura per Cabina Piloti (Cockpit Cover) per una protezione più efficace e pratica a lungo termine. Gli Scudi termici
(Heatshields) non devono essere usati su finestre polarizzate.
