ohn Deere marked its fifty
years in Europe with a whole
swarm of new tractors and
other machines, for the most part
from its factory at Mannheim in
Germany and shown at the latest
edition of EIMA.
There is the 6030 series of tractors
to replace the well-known 6020 series unveiled in Seville in 2001. The
three four-cylinder and four sixcylinder models have a power from
110-180 HP. They use John Deere’s
integral frame, modular transmission and durable parts such as the
Perma Clutch II, new engine power
management and a number of ergonomic improvements.
The four-valve common rail diesel
engine is a Tier III PowerTechPlus
unit with a variable geometry turbo-compressor and four valves
per cylinder to ensure greater air
flow and more efficient combustion. An exhaust gas recirculation
circuit uses an EGR valve to ensure clean exhaust up to the required standards.
The IPM, or Intelligent Power Management system provides up to an
extra 25 HP of power over the
nominal output according to the
model when on the highway or using the PTO. Driver comfort is a
key consideration for its importance in productivity. The dashboard has been re-designed, as
has the right-hand control panel
with the PTO switches directly on

a 250 CV, equipaggiati con motori PowerTechPlus Euro 3 ed
un sistema di gestione intelligente della potenza. Novità
anche tra le rotopresse e le falciacondizionatrici

n occasione di EIMA International John Deere,
giunta al prestigioso traguardo del mezzo secolo di
presenza nel Vecchio Continente, ha festeggiato l’anniversario proponendo all’attenzione del pubblico numerose novità di spicco ed importanti aggiornamenti.
Dallo stabilimento di Mannheim, in Germania, arrivano i trattori della nuova serie
6030,nati per sostituire quelli
della affermata gamma 6020
presentati a Siviglia nel 2001.
Si tratta di sette modelli – tre
a 4 cilindri e quattro a 6 cilindri,con potenze comprese tra
i 110 e i 180 CV – che abbinano al collaudato concetto
John Deere di telaio integrale, trasmissione modulare e
componenti di lunga durata,
come la frizione Perma Clutch II,una nuova tecnologia di
gestione della potenza moto-
re e numerosi miglioramenti
ergonomici.
I trattori della serie 6030
montano i motori Diesel
Common Rail a 4 valvole
conformi a Tier III della serie
PowerTechPlus, dotati di un
turbocompressore a geometria variabile e di testata a 4
valvole per cilindro che garantiscono un flusso d’aria
maggiore e, di conseguenza,

La gestione intelligente della potenza ed il rapporto peso/potenza di circa
30kg/CV rende i due modelli 7430 (nella foto) e 7530 grandi macchine da

permette uno scarico pulito e
a norma.
Il sistema di gestione intelligente della potenza (IPM)
fornisce un apporto di potenza extra rispetto a quella nominale (fino ad un massimo
di 25 CV supplementari,a seconda dei modelli) nelle applicazioni alla Pto e nel trasporto su strada. Con l’obiettivo di aumentare la produttività grande attenzione è stata rivolta al comfort del conducente. Tra le migliorie, il
cruscotto è stato ridisegnato
ed è stata rinnovata la consolle a destra,con gli interruttori
della Pto anteriore e posteriore posti direttamente in linea ed i pulsanti della sequenza HMS (Headland Management System = sistema
di gestione a fine campo) e
AutoTrac integrati sul lato
destro del pannello elettronico di controllo del sollevatore.
Da segnalare, poi, accanto ad
un bassissimo livello di rumorosità, la presenza del CommandCenter, un ampio display a colori che permette di
regolare direttamente sollevatore, motore, trasmissione,
distributori idraulici, sospensione ed altre funzionalità.
Tre nuovi trattori della serie
7030 - 7730, 7830 e 7930 - con
potenze rispettivamente di
220, 235 e 250 CV, prodotti a
Waterloo (negli Stati Uniti)
sostituiranno l’attuale serie
7020 introdotta in Europa nel
2003. Sono dedicati da John
Deere a grandi agricoltori e
contoterzisti e anch’essi dotati di motori PowerTechPlus
Euro 3 da 6,8 litri. Questa
nuova serie presenta un incremento della potenza di 15
CV per modello, il nuovo sistema di gestione intelligente
della potenza,un’ampia scelta
di trasmissioni (PowerQuad
Plus, AutoQuad Plus, AutoQuad Plus con Ecoshift e AutoPower) disponibili su tutti i
modelli),una cabina rinnovata negli interni.
A Mannheim vedono invece
la luce i due nuovissimi modelli 7430 e 7530, rispettivamente da 190 e 203 CV, che
ampliano il concetto di trattore della serie 6000 nel segmento di potenza tra 180 e
200 CV. Questi trattori utilizzano un telaio portante integrale in acciaio più largo di
quello delle macchine serie
6000,progettato per pneumatici da 42 pollici,che permette
un rapporto peso/potenza di
circa 30 kg/CV. Maggiorato,
rispetto ai 6030, anche l’impianto idraulico a centro
chiuso con pompa da 110 litri
al minuto ed il sollevatore posteriore che garantisce una
capacità di sollevamento di
9.000 kg per l’utilizzo di attrezzature larghe e pesanti,ai
quali si aggiungono un serbatoio gasolio da 385 litri ed un
sistema di raffreddamento
più grande del 20%.Entrambi i modelli possono essere
equipaggiati con le trasmissioni PowerQuadPlus, AutoQuadPlus con EcoShift e AutoPower.
Novità anche nel settore della
fienagione,con la falciacondizionatrice 488, caratterizzata
da ampiezza di taglio di 8,8
metri ed un raggruppatore
che realizza un’andana centrale di 2,3 metri (per il trasporto su strada la macchina
può essere ripiegata raggiungendo una larghezza di 3 metri), e i quattro modelli di rotopresse Premium a camera
variabile, provvisti di più ampi raccoglitori RotoFlow o
MaxiCut con inversore comandato dalla cabina.
La nuova falciacondizionatrice 488,
caratterizzata da ampiezza di taglio di
8,8 metri, può essere ripiegata per il
trasporto su strada raggiungendo una
larghezza di 3 metri/The new 488

line and the Headland Management System sequence buttons
and AutoTrac integrated on the
right-hand side of the lift’s electronic control panel. The noise level is very low, and the Command
Center has an ample colour display from which the driver has direct control over lift, engine, transmission, hydraulic distributors,
suspensions and other functions.
Three new models in the 7030 series, the 220 HP 7730, the 235 HP
7830 and the 250 HP 7930, are
produced at Waterloo in the United
States and replace the 7020 first
sold in Europe in 2003. They are for
large farms and sub-contractors,
and are also fitted with Euro 3,
6,800 cc PowerTechPlus engines.
Power is increased by 15 HP in the
new series and, here too, there is
IPM, an ample choice of transmissions (PowerQuad Plus, AutoQuad
Plus, also with Ecoshift, and AutoPower), and a re-designed cab.
Mannheim is making two very new
tractors, the 190 HP 7430 and the
203 HP 7530, envisaged also as
an expansion of the 6000 series.
But they have a wider steel frame
designed for 42 inch tyres to give a
weight/power ration of about
30kg/HP. Larger than what is available in the 6030, the closed centre hydraulic circuit can pump 110
litres per minute. The back lift
guarantees a weight of 9,000 kg
so that large, heavy tools can be
used. The fuel tank holds 385
litres, and the cooling system is
larger by 20%. Both models can
be fitted with PowerQuad Plus,
AutoQuad Plus with Ecoshift, and
AutoPower transmissions.
The new 488 mower conditioner
has an 8.8 meter cutting width
with a central windrower 2.3 meters wide. But for road transport
the machine can be folded down
to a width of 3 meters. The four
new variable chamber Premium
round balers have the more ample
RotoFlow or MaxiCut forage collectors with an inverter controlled
from the cab.
