Durst, specialista nelle applicazioni
inkjet industriali, presenta in anteprima assoluta a Tecnargilla 2014 la
Serie Gamma XD, una nuova generazione di stampanti
ceramiche inkjet a 8 colori. Disponibili nei modelli
Gamma 98 XD e Gamma 148 XD, queste macchine sono
caratterizzate dalle capacità modulari e dall’innovativo
sistema di auto-manutenzione integrato. Entrambi i
modelli sono concepiti per un numero variabile di barre
colore (da 3 a 8) e una luce di stampa compresa tra 319
mm e 956 mm per il sistema Gamma 98 XD e tra 319
mm e 1403 mm per il 148 XD.
La nuova Serie XD è equipaggiata con teste di stampa dotate della più recente High Definition Printhead
Technology di Durst con doppio ricircolo dell’inchiostro.
La nuova tecnologia Adaptive Dot Placement, inoltre,
garantisce affidabilità, alta qualità dell’immagine prive
di banding e omogeneità del colore lungo tutta la larghezza di stampa.
In caso di necessità, le nuove teste auto-calibranti possono essere facilmente sostituite direttamente dall’operatore, minimizzando così i tempi di fermo macchina
ed ottimizzando l’efficienza produttiva. Il nuovo sistema
di pulizia delle testine, che non prevede alcun rilascio
dell’inchiostro direttamente sul tappeto di trasporto,
garantisce inoltre risultati ottimali e cicli di vita prolun-
gati senza sprechi.
Il design di queste nuove stampanti prevede un miglioramento
ergonomico della struttura con lo
scopo di ottimizzare ulteriormente
il processo produttivo.

manutenzione ordinaria e il cambio delle teste senza
assistenza. La nuova serie XD rappresenta una nuova
generazione di stampanti inkjet per ceramica che offre
qualità di stampa senza rivali, garantendo nel contempo
massima flessibilità, affidabilità, facilità di manutenzione
e riduzione dei costi di processo”.
La nuova serie XD decora le piastrelle con una risoluzione di stampa fino a 300 x 1000 dpi. Entrambi i sistemi
sono dotati di 4 livelli greyscales e sono in grado di
modulare la goccia fino a 90 pl. Il nuovo sistema di
filtraggio dell’inchiostro garantisce infine estrema affidabilità, riducendo la frequenza di manutenzione.
Oltre ai sistemi Gamma 98 XD e Gamma 148 XD, Durst
presenterà a Tecnargilla altre interessanti novità per la
produzione e il design delle piastrelle con la tecnologia

TECNARGILLA 2014
A new generation of ceramic inkjet printers with a modular
concept and an integrated auto-maintenance function for
24/7 production
Durst, the specialist for industrial inkjet applications will
present the new Gamma XD Series at the Tecnargilla 2014.
The Gamma 98 XD and the Gamma 148 XD represent
Durst's new generation of 8-color ceramic inkjet printers. In
addition to various technological innovations, the impressive new features are the machines' modularity capabilities
and the integrated auto-maintenance function. Both printer
systems offer a modular design with the possibility to
be configured from 3 to 8 printing bars and print widths
between 319 mm to 956 mm for the Gamma 98 XD and
319 to 1403 mm for the Gamma 148 XD. The new XD Series
is equipped with Durst's latest High Definition Printhead
Technology with dual ink circulation. The new “Adaptive
Dot Placement Technology” guarantees banding-free printing for high image quality and color homogeneity across
the entire printing width. The new printhead design feature
an innovative fast and easy replacement and alignment
system. The new print heads are also designed in such a
way that they can easily be replaced and re-adjusted by the
operator within a very short time to minimize downtime.
A new printhead cleaning system with literally almost no
loss of ink guarantees consistent print results and a long
life cycle for the printheads with long maintenance intervals
and avoids purging the ink on the transport belt. The new
printer design of the new XD Series incorporates the optimization of the machine's ergonomics to further improve
the work process.

were the machines' high reliability, printing without banding, easy and quick operation, as well as the possibility
for the customer to carry out all regular maintenance and
service works, including the exchange of the printheads,
without the need of Durst assistance. The XD Series defines
a new generation of ceramic inkjet printers to offer unrivaled print quality, as well as total production flexibility,
maintainability, high reliability and transparency of costs.
The new XD Series decorate tiles with a native resolution
of 300 dpi combined with the innovative “Adaptive Dot
Placement Technology”. It prints with 4 levels of grayscale
and drop sizes up to 90pl. The new ink filter system guarantees high reliability and long maintenance intervals.
In addition to the Gamma 98XD and the Gamma 148 XD,
Durst will present further innovations for creative tile design
and production at the Tecnargilla, Hall D1, Stand 155.
