Dottore di Ricerca e affermata studiosa nel campo delle discipline del libro antico, nel 2012 decide di lasciare l’ambito
accademico per dedicarsi alla sua grande passione: l’allevamento e la selezione di bassotti tedeschi a pelo duro. è appunto il desiderio di presentare al meglio i propri soggetti
nelle esposizioni di bellezza che costituisce il primo stimolo
ad approcciarsi al mondo della toelettatura. Avvia dunque
un percorso formativo con Marco Marastoni decisivo per
la conoscenza della metodologia e della filosofia Iv San Bernard, cui seguiranno numerosi corsi di perfezionamento e
stage, sempre ad esse ispirate. Si specializza nella toelettatura
delle razze a stripping fino ad elaborare un proprio metodo
di lavoro. In campo espositivo ottiene innumerevoli e continui successi: tra i più prestigiosi 2 titoli mondiali, 1 titolo
mondiale WUT, 1 titolo europeo, nonché piazzamenti sui podi
delle più importanti gare d’Europa. è richiesta come professional groomer da rinomati allevamenti quali l’Allevamento di
bassotti del Gotha e l’Allevamento di Jack Russel Whitetan.
Nel 2014 il suo salone di Sestri Levante, Dog Design, ottiene il riconoscimento di Iv San Bernard Academy.
An accomplished scholar with a PhD. in antique books literature, in 2012 Eleonora Azzini decided to leave her academic
career to dedicate herself to her greatest passion: the breeding and selection of wire-haired Dachshunds. Her desire
to handling as better her breeds at the showdogs led her to
the grooming business. She studied with Marco Marastoni,
well known for his knowledge about the methodology and
philosophy Iv San Bernard, to which various enhancement
courses and stage followed. She specialized in the grooming
of stripping breeds and she developed her own working method. She obtained many successes in shows: among the most
prestigious are two worlddog winner, one WUT winner, one
European winner as well as placements on the podiums of the
most important European competitions. Renowned breeders
such as Bassotti del Gotha Kennel and Jack Russel of Whitetan have sought her services as a professional groomer. In
2014, her grooming salon in Sestri Levante, Dog Design,
attained the recognition of the Iv San Bernard Academy.

Basic Course
Il primo corso istituito dalla Iv San Bernard e anche la
“prima tappa” per chi si voglia avvicinare a questa professione. Fornisce al principiante gli elementi teorici e pratici
di base per affacciarsi con competenza al mestiere di toelettatore, gestire il proprio negozio e accedere agli stadi
successivi della formazione. Il corso dura 12 settimane e
prevede una piccola parte teorica, ma, soprattutto, tanta
pratica con cani e gatti veri per avere, fin dai primi giorni, l’idea della quotidianità del lavoro .

The first course organised by Iv San Bernard and the “first
step” to be taken for those who want to become groomers.
Beginners are given the basic theory and practical knowhow to approach grooming competently, to run their own
shop and to continue their education. The course lasts 12
weeks and covers some theory but above all loads of practice with real dogs and cats, in order to immediately get,
from the very first lessons, an idea of the real grooming
daily routine.

Un corso di due giorni flessibile e nell’orario e nei contenuti studiato per offrire sia ai principianti sia ai groomer
con esperienza, l’opportunità di sviluppare le proprie capacità e colmare le proprie lacune grazie a un training
personalizzato e intensivo e al rapporto diretto uno a uno
con l’insegnante.

A two-day course that is flexible as far as the hours and
contents are concerned. Designed to offer both to the
beginners and “advanced” groomers the chance to develop
their own skills, fill the gaps of their education thanks
to a personalized and intense training and to the direct
relationship with the teacher.

Un corso di cinque giorni pensato per chi ha già le basi
e le voglia approfondire e qualificarsi. L’idea del corso è
dimostrare come, conoscendo le tecniche “classiche”, le si
