experience. The company was founded in 1974 and over the years has managed to became a solid company due to
the intuition and technical ability of its richly experienced chemical-plastic industrial technicians.

Nowadays, MAPPY ITALIA products are used in construction, DIY (big distribution, hardware stores and household
stores) and industry (generators, refrigeration, air conditioning, naval industry, automotive, aeronautics, electricity
sector, in appliance factories in general, and in carpentry and woodworks).

Lo stabilimento di Cesate (MI) occupa oggi una superficie di 22.000 m2. Il supporto tecnologico dei
portatili collegati tramite wireless ai PC del personale logistico, garantisce un’immediata emissione dei
documenti e contemporaneamente lo scarico del magazzino così da avere just in time la situazione
sempre sotto controllo. Grazie ad un recente investimento volto a migliorare la sicurezza e l’operatività
del magazzino, oggi siamo in grado di garantire invii giornalieri puntuali.

The plant, warehouses and shipments: the beating heart of a
modern, efficient and advanced company
Nowadays the main plant in Cesate (Milan), occupies an area of 22,000 m2.
Technological support on laptops connected wirelessly to the PC of logistics personnel, guarantee an immediate
release of documents and simultaneously unloading the store just in time so to have the situation always under
control. With a recent investment to improve safety and operation of the warehouse, we are now able to ensure daily
shipments on time.
Shipments are in fact in line with the highest standards:
t 24 / 48 h for goods in stock in warehouse on our order confirmation, estimated delivery time for a domestic
order;
t3 to 4 weeks for non-standard materials on our order confirmation.

Since 2005 the new management has invested their resources to continuously improve both the technology and the
quality of MAPPY ITALIA human resources: Customer service and specialized technicians are always available for

La Politica per la Qualità di MAPPY ITALIA SpA nasce col duplice fine di ottenere un alto standard qualitativo dei prodotti e dei servizi forniti, e la completa soddisfazione di tutte le parti interessate, dai Clienti,

The Laboratory
MAPPY ITALIA, for over ten years, has had a laboratory to check the quality of its products. The continuous changes in technology, the changing nature of market and customer demands have led business
leaders to invest a significant portion of its resources on research and development, expanding and
equipping the existing laboratory with highly qualified personnel and a whole new set of instrumentation
capable of performing chemical analysis and chemical-physical analysis in addition to well-established
mechanical and dimensional analysis.
MAPPY ITALIA also makes use of the support of external certified laboratories and is launching new
partnerships with universities and international research groups.

Cos' è il Rumore?
What does noise mean?
Viene definito "rumore" un suono non gradito o non desiderato. Il rumore è quella sensazione
che l'orecchio trasmette al cervello e che è provocata da variazioni di pressione dell'aria sul
timpano. Ogni suono puro è caratterizzato da una frequenza e da un'ampiezza. Maggiore è
l'ampiezza e maggiore risulta l'intensità del rumore percepito. La frequenza invece dà luogo a
rumori gravi o acuti che risultano i più fastidiosi.

Mappysil CR 400 è un pannello fonoisolante e termoisolante composto

una guaina elastomerica (EPDM) caricata ad alta densità. Mappysil CR
400 è disponibile su richiesta in versione adesiva con collante acrilico per
supportare l’installatore nella fase di posizionamento.
Applicazioni tipiche
MAPPYSIL CR 400 è ideale per poter isolare acusticamente e
termicamente pareti e soffitti utilizzando un unico pannello, può essere
facilmente inserito all’interno delle intercapedini in muratura, all’interno
delle guide metalliche per pareti a secco (cartongesso, legno, Magnesite
tipo Megapan) e appoggiato al di sopra dei controsoffitti.
Posa in opera
Per l’applicazione in intercapedine si consiglia l’utilizzo di colla specifica
MAPPYCOL S45, oppure tasselli in polipropilene con nastratura nelle
giunture orizzontali e verticali tra i pannelli contigui con MAPPYTAPE TXT,
per evitare ponti acustici. Per applicazione all’interno delle pareti a secco
si consiglia il medesimo posizionamento interponendo MAPPYSIL CR
400 all’interno dei montanti della parete oppure utilizzo di MAPPYSIL CR
400 autoadesivo per evitare l’uso di collanti. All’interno dei controsoffitti
posizionare in appoggio dello stesso. MAPPYSIL CR 400 può essere
tagliato con l’utilizzo di un taglierino.

Description
MAPPYSIL CR 400 is an acoustic and thermal insulation panel composed of two
layers of CLASS 1/F1 polyester fibers and in between there is an elastomeric high
density barrier (EPDM). MAPPYSIL CR 400 is also available in an adhesive version with
water-based acrylic glue, to support the installer in the laying phase.
Applications
MAPPYSIL CR 400 is ideal for a thermoacoustic insulation of walls and ceilings
using a single panel that can be easily inserted within masonry cavity walls or within the
studs of drywalls (plaster, wood, magnesium) and placed right on drop ceilings.
Laying
For application inside cavity walls, we recommend the use of special glue MAPPYCOL
S45 (page 110), or polypropylene rawlplugs. To prevent sound bridges, on horizontal
and vertical joints between adjacent panels please apply MAPPYTAPE TXT adhesive (pag.112). In case of application within dry walls it is recommended the laying of
MAPPYSIL CR 400 inside the studs of the wall or use adhesive MAPPYSIL CR
400 in order to avoid the use of glues. Within drop ceilings lean the product against the
internal surface. MAPPYSIL CR 400 can be cut using a cutter.

PREMESSA
Per una corretta posa in opera, la prima condizione da rispettare è lo stoccaggio ed
immagazzinamento del prodotto adesivo che deve essere conservato nell’imballo originale lontano da fonti di calore e umidità.

CONDIZIONI AMBIENTALI PER L’APPLICAZIONE
La temperatura applicativa non deve essere inferiore a + 5°C.
PREPARAZIONE DELLE SUPERFICI
Si raccomanda di pulire scrupolosamente le superfici d’applicazione del prodotto che
devono essere privi di polvere, grasso, silicone, olii, umidità ecc. Le superfici non devono
essere più fredde rispetto all’ambiente.

polipropilene: nr.5 al m2 (quattro sugli angoli ed uno al centro). La presenza dell’adesivo
è solo di posizionamento per facilitarne la posa in opera, molto utile soprattutto per i
QSPEPUUJDPOHVBJOBDIFIBOOPVOQFTPJNQPSUBOUFEBLHN2BLHN2).
PREPARAZIONE DEI MATERIALI
Rimuovere il film di protezione dell’adesivo partendo da un angolo del formato. Tale
operazione deve essere eseguita manualmente in modo uniforme e senza strappi. Si
consiglia di appoggiarsi su un piano di lavoro e rimuovere il film di protezione da più
estremità evitando di toccare con le mani o altri oggetti la superficie adesiva.
MONTAGGIO E POSIZIONAMENTO
Prima di procedere con l’installazione, agire con attenzione avvicinando lentamente il
materiale adesivo alla superficie di applicazione così da posizionarlo correttamente al
primo tentativo. Questa operazione, se pur logica, è di particolare importanza per garantire la tenuta e la qualità del prodotto stesso, in caso di riposizionamento l’adesivo
sarebbe irrimediabilmente compromesso favorendone la caduta. E’ importante quindi
posizionarsi in modo che l’operazione di posa sia facilmente eseguibile. Applicare il
materiale iniziando da un lato, tenerlo leggermente incurvato, senza però tenderlo
eccessivamente per evitare che si formino pieghe, adagiarlo infine gradatamente su
tutto il resto della superficie. La posa corretta si conclude esercitando una pressione
uniforme su tutta la superficie che può avvenire direttamente con le mani oppure, più
semplicemente, con un rullo.
In caso di applicazione del materiale a parete o a soffitto: fissare il materiale meccanicamente utilizzando tasselli in gomma o in polipropilene : nr.5 al m2 (quattro sugli
angoli ed uno al centro), a garantire la tutela del prodotto. In alternativa è possibile
l’installazione con telati di sostegno.
2. Materiali accoppiati a guaina elastomerica-versione non adesiva
PREMESSA

Si consiglia l’utilizzo di collanti poliuretanici o epossidici senza solventi, facilmente
reperibili nei centri commerciali FAI DA TE o nelle ferramenta. Si sconsiglia l’uso di
colle a base solvente, poiché quest’ultimo potrebbe causare fenomeni di migrazione
di olii dal prodotto, causandone il distacco sia sulla superficie di applicazione che tra
gli stessi strati di materiale che formano il prodotto. Colle a base d’acqua non sono
consigliate in quanto non garantiscono la tenuta nel tempo.

materiale adesivo alla superficie di applicazione così da posizionarlo correttamente al
primo tentativo. Questa operazione, se pur logica, è di particolare importanza per garantire la tenuta e la qualità del prodotto stesso, in caso di riposizionamento l’adesivo
sarebbe irrimediabilmente compromesso favorendone la caduta. È importante quindi
posizionarsi in modo che l’operazione di posa sia facilmente eseguibile. Applicare il

General instructions for laying materials
1) Materials combined with elastomeric barrier - adhesive
version
INTRODUCTION
For a correct laying, the first condition to be met is the storage and stockpiling of the
adhesive product that must be kept in its original package away from heat and humidity
sources.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION:
The application temperature must not be below +5°C.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
It is recommended to thoroughly clean the area where the product will be applied; the
surface must be free of dust, grease, silicone, oil, moisture, etc.
The surface must not be colder than the room.
Pay careful attention to painted surfaces, walls or ceilings; if the paint is solvent-borne,
the solvent might cause migration phenomena undermining the adhesion and causing a
detachment of the product from the surface or of the layers which form the product.
We recommend using rubber or polypropylene head rawlplugs: 5 per squared meter
(four on the corners and one in the centre).
The adhesive is meant to help positioning the material; it allows an easier installation of

or of the layers that form the product itself. Water based glues can not guarantee effectiveness and durability.
Apply the material from the edge, keeping it slightly bent, but do not stretch it too much

All orders are packaged in cardboard boxes and loaded onto pallets or put directly onto

In case of termination of business relations the personalized packaging, still lying at our
warehouse, should be collected by customer and paid.

All deliveries must be arranged through our sales department.
