Primary 3, 4 and 5, and Middle School pupils will be going to Venice

Dear Families,
We are pleased to send you our first Newsletter of 2016!
The children in the Primary School will soon be receiving their mid - term reports on the following dates:
Class 1– Monday 1st February 16.15-17.15
Class 2 – Monday 1st February 17.15-18.15
Classe 3 – Wednesday 3rd February 16.15-17.15
Classe 4 – Wednesday 3rd February 16.15-17.15
Classe 5 – Friday 5th February 16.15-17.15
Middle School pupils will receive mid-term reports on Friday 5th February, and parents will have the
opportunity to meet the teachers both in the upcoming class meetings to be held on the following dates:
Middle 1: Tuesday 2nd February 16.15-17.15
Middle 2: Tuesday 2nd February 17.15-18.15
Middle 3: Thursday 4th February 16.15-17.15
and during the individual meetings scheduled for the afternoon of 15th February (Middle 3) and 16th
February afternoon (Middle 1 and 2).
Our Early Years children will also receive a written account of their progress during this first term of school
after their class meetings, which are to be held on:
UPCOMING EVENTS
Primary 3, 4 and 5, and Middle

Venice on 2nd February (Middle
School), on 4th February
(Primary 3) and on 5th February
(Primary 4 and 5) to participate
in a series of workshops within
the Arsenale
organized in
collaboration with La Biennale
for the 7Th Edition of ‘Carnevale
dei Ragazzi’.
As part of Carnival celebrations,
there will be a theatre
presentation here at the school
on Thursday 4th February at
10.00, called “Il Gioco delle
Emozioni” for Early years and
Primary 1 and 2 pupils.

Nursery 2 – Wednesday 17th February 16.15-17.15
Reception Ladybirds and Swallows – Friday 19th February 16.15-17.15
Individual parent meetings will be held with teachers on the following dates:

Primary School: From 15th – 19th February.

Early Years : From 22nd- 26th February
Parents of children in the Early Years and Primary School will be contacted directly by the teachers with their
appointment date and time via the 'Libretto Scolastico'.
In relation to enrollments for school year 2016/17, we would like to remind those who have not already given
the documents that the deadline has passed.
Early Years , Primary School and
Middle School will celebrate
carnival on Thursday 4th February.
All children may bring to school a
costume to change into in the
afternoon and some carnival
snacks to share with their class.
We would like to remind you that
the school will be closed from the
6th of February until the 14th of
February for White Week.

Con il mese di gennaio si conclude il Primo Quadrimestre, che porta con sé le prime pagelle. Queste verranno
consegnate agli alunni della Scuola Primaria nei giorni seguenti:
I bambini di 3^,4^,5^ primaria
e le tre classi di scuola
secondaria si recheranno a
Venezia rispettivamente il 2
(Scuola Secondaria), il 3
(classe 3^) ed il 5 (classi 4^ e
5^) febbraio per partecipare
ad
alcuni
laboratori
organizzati all’interno degli
spazi dell’Arsenale da La
Biennale in occasione del 7°
Carnevale internazionale dei
ragazzi.

Gli alunni della scuola secondaria riceveranno le schede di valutazione del primo quadrimestre venerdì 05 febbraio,
ed i genitori avranno la possibilità di incontrare i docenti sia in occasione delle prossime assemblee di classe che si
terranno nelle seguenti date:
Middle 1: MARTEDì 02 FEBBRAIO ORE 16.15-17.15
Middle 2: MARTEDì 02 FEBBRAIO ORE 17.15-18.15
Middle 3: GIOVEDì 04 FEBBRAIO ORE 16.15-17.15
sia in occasione dei colloqui individuali previsti per i pomeriggi del 15 febbraio (Middle 3) e del 16 febbraio
(middle 1 e 2).
Ai bambini della Scuola dell’Infanzia verrà invece consegnato un resoconto sul loro andamento nei seguenti giorni:

10.00, la rappresentazione “Il
Gioco delle Emozioni” rivolta
ai bambini della Scuola
dell’Infanzia e di 1^ e 2^
Primaria, messa in scena dal
Gruppo Alcuni.
Come da “Notiziario Scolastico”, Vi ricordiamo che gli incontri individuali docenti- famiglie si terranno:

Scuola Secondaria: come sopra indicato

Scuola Primaria: dal 15 al 19 febbraio

Scuola Dell’infanzia: dal 22 al 26 febbraio
I genitori degli alunni della Primaria troveranno nel Libretto Personale la data e l’orario proposti dagli
insegnanti per il ricevimento.
In relazione alle iscrizioni 2016/17, desideriamo ricordare a chi non avesse già consegnato i documenti che il
termine è già trascorso.
Vi informiamo inoltre che
giovedì 04 febbraio gli alunni
di ogni grado di scuola
potranno indossare maschere,
costumi e portare dei dolci per
festeggiare il Carnevale con
insegnanti
e
compagni
durante il pomeriggio.
Vi ricordiamo che la scuola
resterà chiusa da sabato 06 a
domenica 14 febbraio per la
Settimana Bianca.
