fter successful debut at Adria during the WSK Champions Cup, the Parolin Racing Kart Team
continued in international competition at the first round of the WSK Super Master Series. On this
occasion Lorenzo Camplese made his debut in the KZ category, for the professionals of karting.
Despite extreme conditions and a shortened programme, the factory Parolin Racing Kart driver achieved
extraordinary well to fight in the top three at the start of the final.
The winter weather at Castelletto did not make the
task easy for the Parolin Racing Kart Team in early
March. Distanced during the first free practice session, Lorenzo Camplese was back on the pace from
the second session. Qualifying didn’t provide com-
plete satisfaction with a 13th place overall but the
team worked hard to enable the driver to move up significantly in Prefinal A on Sunday morning. Camplese
was very close to the best in pure performance and regained six places to finish in 3rd position in the wake
and on the pace of the eventual
winner.
The competitiveness of Parolin
Racing Kart was displayed again
in the Final and Camplese immediately found himself in the fight
for the top three. He then lost
ground because of the intensity
of the battle, before resuming
the ascendancy in the final laps
and finished 7th in a lively race.
Lorenzo is in 7th place in the
provisional championship standings among a stellar roster of
confirmed champions.
«The weekend of Castelletto
wasn’t easy for anyone,» confided Albino Parolin. «We are not,
however, unhappy with our performance. The team is very young
and we are already comparable
to the greatest specialists with
long experience in KZ. We must
not forget that this is currently
the premier class where the professionals of world karting race.
We proved that our KZ chassis
was at the peak of competition,
ensuring that our racing product
is the same our customer base
is receiving, which is one of the
main objectives for the company.
We have planned our development programme with the goal
of being at the top for the major
CIK-FIA international events and
will soon meet our opponents
again for the second meeting of
the WSK Master Series Super at
the Sarno circuit.»

opo un inizio di tutto rispetto ad Adria durante la WSK Champions Cup, il Team Parolin Racing
Kart ha ritrovato il gusto per la competizione internazionale durante la prima prova della WSK
Super Master Series. Lorenzo Camplese ha esordito nella categoria KZ, quella dei big del karting.
Nonostante una serie di condizioni estreme e un programma accorciato, il pilota ufficiale Parolin Racing
Kart è riuscito a realizzare delle prodezze, fino a battersi nei primi 3 all’inizio della finale.
Il meteo invernale di Castelletto non ha semplificato il compito del team Parolin Racing Kart in questo inizio di Marzo.
Distanziato durante la prima sessione di prove libere, Lorenzo Camplese è riuscito a recuperare il ritmo nella seconda
sessione. Le prove cronometrate non sono state comple-
tamente soddisfacenti dopo un 13° posto in classifica generale. Il team ha lavorato duramente per consentire al suo
pilota di rimontare in modo significativo nella prefinale A
domenica mattina. Camplese era molto vicino ai migliori in
termini di pura performance e ha rimontato 6 posizioni per
terminare in 3a sulla scia e al ritmo
del futuro vincitore.
La competitività di Parolin Racing Kart si è espressa anche alla
partenza della finale e il suo pilota si è ritrovato subito a lottare tra
i primi 3. Ha poi perso terreno a
causa dell’intensità della battaglia
dove non sono mancati i contatti, prima di riprendere le distanze
negli ultimi giri e concludere al 7°
posto di una gara molto movimentata. Lorenzo occupa il 7° posto
della classifica provvisoria del
campionato in mezzo a una bella
sfilza di campioni navigati.
“Il week-end di Castelletto non è
stato facile per nessuno.”, ha dichiarato Albino Parolin. “Tuttavia non siamo delusi della nostra
prestazione. Il Team è giovane e
ci confrontiamo già con i più grandi specialisti che hanno una lunga
esperienza nella KZ. Non bisogna
dimenticare che è attualmente la
categoria regina dove gareggiano i
big del karting mondiale. Abbiamo
dimostrato che il nostro telaio KZ
era all’altezza della concorrenza,
assicurando in questo modo che
il nostro prodotto da competizione
fosse lo stesso che ricevono i nostri clienti base, che è tra l’altro uno
degli obiettivi principali della nostra
società. Ci atteniamo al nostro programma di sviluppo con l’obiettivo
di essere al top per i grandi appuntamenti internazionali della CIKFIA e ritroveremo prossimamente i
nostri avversari per il secondo appuntamento della WSK Super Master Series sul circuito di Sarno.”

près des débuts remarqués à Adria pendant la WSK Champions Cup à Adria, le Team Parolin Racing Kart retrouvait la compétition internationale lors de la 1ère épreuve de la WSK Super Master
Series. Lorenzo Camplese faisait à cette occasion ses débuts dans la catégorie KZ, celle des
ténors du karting. Malgré des conditions extrêmes et un programme écourté, le pilote officiel Parolin
Racing Kart parvenait à réaliser des prouesses, jusqu’à se battre dans le top 3 en début de finale.
La météo hivernale de Castelletto n’a pas facilité la tâche de
l’équipe Parolin Racing Kart en ce début du mois de mars.
Distancé pendant la 1ère séance d’essais libres, Lorenzo
Camplese revenait dans le rythme dès la seconde session.
Les essais chronométrés n’apportaient pas entière satisfac-
tion avec une 13e place au classement général. L’équipe
travaillait dur pour permettre à son pilote de remonter de
manière significative dans la préfinale A dimanche matin.
Camplese était très proche des meilleurs en performances
pures et regagnait 6 places pour finir à la 3e position, dans
le sillage et dans le rythme du futur
vainqueur.
La compétitivité de Parolin Racing
Kart s’affichait de nouveau au départ de la finale et son pilote se retrouvait tout de suite à la lutte dans
le top 3. Il a ensuite perdu du terrain
à cause de l’intensité de la bataille,
où les bousculades n’ont pas manqué, avant de reprendre l’ascendant dans les derniers tours et de
conclure au 7e rang d’une course
bien agitée. Lorenzo occupe la 7e
place du classement provisoire du
championnat au milieu d’une belle
brochette de champions confirmés.
« Le week-end de Castelletto n’a
été facile pour personne. » confiait
Albino Parolin. « Nous ne sommes
cependant pas mécontents de
notre prestation. L’équipe est toute
jeune et nous nous mesurons déjà
aux plus grands spécialistes qui
disposent d’une très longue expérience en KZ. Il ne faut pas oublier
que c’est actuellement la catégorie
reine où évoluent les ténors du karting mondial. Nous avons prouvé
que notre châssis KZ était à la hauteur de la concurrence, ce qui nous
permet de garantir la meilleure compétitivité à tous nos clients qui bénéficient du même matériel issu de
notre chaîne de production. C’est
une priorité chez Parolin Kart. Nous
suivons notre programme de développement avec l’objectif d’être au
top pour les grands rendez-vous internationaux de la CIK-FIA et nous
retrouverons prochainement nos
adversaires pour le 2e rendez-vous
de la WSK Super Master Series sur
le circuit de Sarno. »
