THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The 10th Cosmic Ray International Seminar (CRIS 2016) will be held in the Island of Ischia (NA)
on July 4th-8th, 2016 and will focus fundamental topics in astroparticle physics.
CRIS 2016 is organized by the Napoli and Catania Section of the National Institute of Nuclear
Physics (INFN), by the Department of Physics “E. Pancini ” of the University of Napoli and by the
Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Catania.
The conference venue is the Hotel Continental Ischia at Ischia Porto, Naples. We plan to host all
participants in the conference hotel. Sessions will start on Monday, July 4 th afternoon and will end
on Friday, July 8th before lunch. For all the details about the Conference, including registration,

The CRIS 2016 conference program will consist of plenary sessions including :

Each session includes a 45 minutes overview lecture and 30 minutes highlight reports on the main
experiments. A preliminary list of the invited speakers can be found on the conference web site.
Contributed talks (15 minutes + 5 minutes for discussion) for each session as well as a
poster session are scheduled. Participants are invited to submit their contributions and indicate a
preference as oral or poster. Contributions will be published on Nuclear Particle Physics
Proceedings by Elsevier.
As in the past, the CRIS 2016 Conference is addressed to scientists in the fields as well as to PhD
and graduate students. We will encourage lively and informal discussions among participants.
Abstract submission for invited and contributed talks has been prolonged for one week.

Standard Registration : 350€ / students and PhD 300€ : after June 3rd, 2016
Registration opening : July 3rd, 2016 after lunch
Start date of the conference : July 4th, 2016
End date of the conference : July 8th, 2016
Proceeding Submission: October 30th, 2016
Registration
We encourage early registration. The conference fee is 300€ before June 3rd and 350€ after this date.
For graduated and PhD students, the conference fee is reduced to 250€ before June 3rd and 300€
after this date. Bank transfer is highly preferred. We kindly invite participants to specify in the
registration form the requested receipt header (institution or personal) and to send us the bank
transfer receipt at the email address [email protected]
The conference fee includes welcome cocktail on July 4th, coffee breaks, social event on July 6th and
proceedings.
Social Event
On Wednesday, July 6th starting from 2:30 pm a tour of the Ischia Island by sea is organized. The
tour includes : transfer from the hotel to Casamicciola by bus, boat tour (english guide) around the
Island of Ischia with 1 hour stop in the small town of Sant'Angelo, final stop in Forio and transfer
by bus for social dinner at Restaurant L'Oasi in Forio.
Accompanying persons are welcome. Tours and visits of the Island of Ischia and surroundings are
organized along the week and can be booked directly at the hotel reception.
