MITROPA CUP 2016
To the Chess Federations of Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany,
Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
The CZECH CHESS FEDERATION, in cooperation with AVE-KONTAKT s.r.o., has
the honour to invite your representatives to the MITROPA CUP 2016. The
tournament will be held in two sections, the open section and the women section.

The Czech Republic, Prague, hotel Olympik,

Teams:
Each team will be composed of 4 players plus one reserve player
(for open section), 2 women players plus one reserve woman
player (for women section), one of them acts as a team captain.
Time control:
90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes to finish the
game, with 30 seconds increment for each move from move one.

Prizes:
The first three teams will be awarded trophies and gold, silver and
bronze medals.
Accommodation: Each team (max. 8 persons per country) will be provided with full
board accommodation in 4 double rooms at the hotel Olympik ****.
Different composition of rooms may be subject to additional
charge and is possible according to an agreement with the
organizer.
Full board accommodation for other people is available:
single room - 70 € / room and night
double room - 90 € / room and night
triple room - 135 € / room and night
Costs:
According to the mutual agreement, an organisation fee of 250 €
per person has to be paid. The total amount for the participating
federation must be transferred by May 31 to the following bank
