The Italian art of footwear manufacturing is one
of the few real bastions of efficiency and quality
recognized around the world. We are handmade
footwear manufacturers and cycling enthusiasts.
But being a handmade footwear manufacturer
doesn’t mean just performing a trade; it means

L’ATOP system è un sistema di chiusura innovativo, che unisce la semplicità di utilizzo
a una perfetta chiusura della scarpa. Viene utilizzato solo sui modelli top di gamma. Atop
è un sistema unico adoperato in esclusiva nel settore scarpe da ciclo da Dmt. Questo tipo
di chiusura consente, tramite un rotore che riavvolge un filo, una chiusura della tomaia
perfetta ed avvolgente a qualsiasi tipo di piede; altro punto di forza è il rilascio del filo;
quando si vuole aprire la scarpa: basta solo ruotare in senso antiorario di 45° il rotore.
The ATOP closure system is innovative as it combines simplicity of use with
a perfect shoe closure and is only used on the top models. Atop is a unique
system used exclusively in the cycling shoe sector by DMT. This type of closing,
using a rotor to rewind a wire, allows for a perfect upper closing that envelops
any type of foot; another strong point is the releasing system of the wire; when
you want to open the shoe: just turn the rotor counter clockwise 45°.

when mounting the pedals on shoes with conventional three-bolt soles. Wind tunnel tests have shown the
combination of the Speedplay® pedals with DMT shoes employing Speedplay® Approved soles provides a 33
seconds per hour as advantage over conventional shoes and pedals. Additional benefits include a lower stack
height which positions the foot closer to the pedal axle and facilitates more efficient transfer of power.
The absence of adaptors also makes the shoe lighter.

Questo modello di scarpa è un nuovo concept DMT. La suola è un composito di carbonio e fibre
di vetro: unisce la leggerezza del carbonio alla rigidità del vetro, connubio perfetto per una
suola estremamente rigida. La tomaia in microfibra e rete garantisce alla scarpa tenuta
e traspirabilità; il sistema di chiusura è garantito da due velcri nella parte anteriore della scarpa,
mentre per quel che riguarda il collo del piede si è introdotto un nuovo sistema formato
da un rotore a filo “Atop” che assieme ad una linguetta in morbida gomma garantisce
una chiusura sicura confortevole e anatomica per ogni tipo di piede.

This shoe model is brand new in terms of product idea by DMT. The sole is made in carbon and
glass fibres, its technical characteristics combine the lightness of the carbon to the stiffness
of the glass, a perfect match for an ultra rigid sole. The upper in microfiber and mesh ensure hold
and perspiration to the shoe, the closure system consists of two Velcro straps on the front part
of the shoe, while with regards to the instep, DMT has introduced a new system consisting
of a wire device, ‘’Atop’’, that together with the tongue in soft rubber, ensures a comfortable,
anatomic and safe closure for any type of foot.

Diamant è sempre più attenta al segmento pista. Ha quindi voluto fortemente dare vita ad un modello
di scarpa che rispecchi al 100% le esigenze degli atleti che praticano prettamente l’attività all’interno
dei velodromi. Seguendo attentamente i suggerimenti di alcuni fra i migliori pistard del mondo,
è nata la nuova PISTA 2013, una scarpa che si differenzia da tutti i modelli analoghi. Tomaia
in microfibra interamente chiusa senza rete e chiusura scarpa garantita da un laccio ricoperto
da una linguetta appositamente studiata per rendere aerodinamica e rigidità. La suola, denominata
New Carbon Sole, è in fibra di carbonio e garantisce una resa massima durante la pedalata.
Diamant, more and more focused on the track segment, strongly wished to conceive a shoe model that
reflects 100%, the needs of the athletes who typically practice sports inside cycle-racing tracks.
By following carefully the recommendations of a few of the best track cyclists in the world, the new PISTA
2013 was born, a shoe that stands out from all the other models, since it consists of an upper in microfiber,

Per il 2013 DMT mette in campo un secondo modello di scarpa da triathlon. Seguendo le indicazioni
di atleti che praticano questa disciplina ad altissimo livello, è nata NEW TOP TRI. La chiusura è garantita dal
sistema Atop; la tomaia in microfibra sul collo del piede è studiata in modo tale che possa garantire
una calzata nel minor tempo possibile. Nella parte posteriore una fettuccia agevola la calzata, il tacco,
intercambiabile, è stato prolungato fino a metà tallone per evitare l’usura della scarpa durante la fase
di corsa a piedi con bici in mano. Il tutto montato sulla nostra suola in fibra di carbonio New Carbon Sole.
For 2013, DMT conceived a second model of triathlon shoes. Based on the recommendations of athletes

La suola ha una base in carbonio, per trasferire la forza sul pedale con minor dispersione possibile,
e una parte in poliuretano intercambiabile, che garantisce all’atleta la possibilità di avere una scarpa
sempre perfetta. É stata reintrodotta la chiusura con cricchetto e micrometrica, per resistere all’usura
e alle sollecitazioni. La tomaia in microfibra e rete rende la scarpa confortevole e traspirante, caratteristiche

Top gear is the model for the MTB speciality which Diamant has produced, updating the sole and closing,
following advice from racing athletes whose teams have been using our products for years. The sole has
a carbon base to transfer the least dispersive force on the pedal, and a part in interchangeable polyurethane
that guarantees the athlete the possibility of having an always perfect shoe. The ratchet and micrometric
closing was re-introduced to resist wear and tear. The upper part in microfiber makes the shoe comfortable
and breathable, features that are necessary for bikers of every level who love off road cycling.
