Una trilogia musicale di Giovanni Bellucci
liberamente tratta dal capolavoro
cinematografico di Krysztof Kieslowski “Trois
couleurs”
Blu, bianco, rosso, sono i tre colori scelti dal
geniale polacco Kieslowski nella sua celeberrima
trilogia cinematografica.
Egli associa le tre tonalità cromatiche al motto
francese “Liberté-Egalité-Fraternité”, e Giovanni
Bellucci, l’ideatore ed interprete dello straordinario progetto artistico che si svolgerà al Teatro San
Francesco di Bolsena tra il 29 ed il 31 luglio
2009, ha inteso realizzare un innovativo connubio tra diverse forme della creatività, scelte tra le
più nobili, come la Musica e il Cinema, ispirandosi idealmente ai dettami della dichiarazione dei
diritti del cittadino, parte integrante della Costituzione francese dell’anno III (1795). Il testo citato,
facendo riferimento alla Fraternità, recita così:
«Non fate agli altri ciò che non vorreste fosse
fatto a voi; fate costantemente agli altri il bene
che vorreste ricevere».
Una filosofia di vita empatica, generosa, forse
utopica, ma che è quella che ogni vero Artista
della comunicazione intende perseguire.
Il Comitato Organizzatore, unitamente ai grandi
musicisti che prenderanno parte all’evento, si
propone di offrire al pubblico una “tre giorni” di
pura bellezza artistica, umana, e – perché no? –
anche culinaria, tutta da condividere.
Le tre serate “colorate” che Bolsena si appresta
a vivere, saranno un’imperdibile occasione per

problematiche quotidiane attraverso il frizzante
umorismo di Gioachino Rossini, per commuoversi con la sublime “Casta diva” belliniana, per
abbandonarsi al sogno evocato dalle atmosfere
impressionistiche debussyane, per ascoltare
una volta di più l’intensa voce di Chopin, espressa dal violoncello, protagonista della sua ultima
composizione.
Una trilogia d’estate che si avvarrà di
un’ambientazione affascinante: quanta magia,
quanta storia, quanto colore, quanto stupore
può racchiudersi in quello che ad
un’osservazione distratta può sembrare un
puntino minuscolo, del tutto insignificante, di
una cartina geografica. Il lago di Bolsena, quasi
un mare, invece, con la sua distesa d’acqua
che percorre, divide la terra, gira, riempe di sé i
paesi arrampicati sulla cresta delle colline
ovattate dal silenzio, sarà complice di momenti
irripetibili, attimi fuggevoli che verranno catturati
dalle telecamere della produzione di un film che
documenterà i più emozionanti momenti vissuti
dagli artisti e dal pubblico.
Il lago di Bolsena, ovvero un file da salvare nella
memoria affettiva, un po’ come avviene nella
trilogia filmica di Kieslowski: bianco quando
immerso nella foschia dell’alba, blu quando le
luci del crepuscolo ingentiliscono le tinte del
paesaggio che lo circonda, rosso nei tramonti di
fuoco prima del calar della sera.

A musical trilogy by Giovanni Bellucci
freely adapted from the film masterpiece of
Krysztof Kieslowski “Trois couleurs”
Blue, white and red are the three colours chosen
by the brilliant Polish director Kieslowski in his
world famous film trilogy.
He associates the three colours to the French
motto “Liberté-Egalité-Fraternité”, and Giovanni
Bellucci, the creator and performer of this
extraordinary artistic project which will take place
in the Teatro San Francesco in Bolsena between
29 and 31 July 2009, has wanted to establish an
innovative combination of various forms of
creativity, chosen from the most noble elements,
such as Music and Film, taking his inspiration
ideally from the dictates of the declaration of the
citizen’s rights, an integral part of the French
Constitution in the year III (1795). The text in
question, in reference to the concept of
Fraternity, states: “Do not to others what you
would not want done to yourself; consistently do
to others the good that you would want to
receive”.
This is a philosophy of an empathetic, generous
and possibly utopian life but it is what every true
Artist of communication hopes to pursue.
The Organising Committee, together with the
great musicians taking part in the event, intend to
offer the public “three days” of pure artistic,
human and – why not? – even culinary beauty
that is all to be shared.

A summer trilogy that will benefit from a
wonderful background: how much magic,
history, what colours and what amazing things
can be encapsulated in what, to the distracted
eye, may appear as just a tiny, entirely
insignificant dot on the map. The Bolsena Lake
is, however, almost a sea with its stretch of water
that flows, divides the land, turns and fills itself
with the villages clinging to the crests of the hills
enveloped by silence. It will be the accomplice
of unrepeatable moments, brief moments that
will captured by the cameras of the film
production documenting the most thrilling
moments experienced by both artists and the
public alike.
The Bolsena Lake will be, in other words, a file to
be saved in the memory of emotions, somewhat
as happens in Kieslowski’s film trilogy: white
when it is enveloped in the dawn mists, blue
when the light of evening softens the tones of
the surrounding countryside and red in the fiery
sunsets before night descends.
