Una costante ricerca all’interno delle tecnologie più avanzate del settore,
abbinata a nuove soluzioni costruttive e materiali sempre all’avanguardia:
questo è il filo conduttore dello sviluppo che viene portato avanti in tutte le
linee di prodotto a componente “tessile” di C.A.M.P.
Il tutto con un unico preciso obiettivo: quello di fornire prodotti a protezione e
supporto delle attività outdoor nelle sue svariate forme.
La linea Essential rappresenta questa nuova frontiera dove il design è legato a
doppio filo ai temi cari a C.A.M.P. del “light, compact and emergency use”; vale
a dire una protezione tanto leggera quanto compatta e quindi estremamente
funzionale ed efficace nel momento della necessità.
Queste caratteristiche davvero uniche nel panorama hanno permesso una
rapida diffusione ed un ottimo feedback da parte dei consumatori, che hanno
trovato in questi prodotti ottimi sostituti rispetto a quanto di più classico ed
indifferenziato offre oggi il mercato. Per la nuova stagione 2011 un’altra
importante novità è poi rappresentata dalla linea di sacchiletto, sviluppata con
l’intento di armonizzare le nuove linee di prodotto con le rinnovate esigenze
dei consumatori a tutti i livelli.
Si passa infatti dalle linee Summit e Denali, dedicate alla protezione in alta
quota, alla linea Titanium caratterizzata dalla tecnologia “Seamless” che
massimizza il rapporto tra temperatura, peso e volume; si arriva poi alla linea
Comfort, espandibile per un maggiore spazio, ed alla linea Stretch con cuciture
elastiche, anche in questo caso per un maggiore comfort in utilizzo dovuto
all’aumento dello spazio creato grazie alla elasticità che il prodotto racchiude.
Infine una nota di merito per il modello Micro, costruito con la tecnologia “multimicro-channel” che lo rende ideale per coloro che ricercano leggerezza,
versatilità, minimo ingombro e funzionalità derivante dallo “Useful Pack”,
packaging intelligente che funge da contenitore multiuso. Nuovi standard e
target sono quindi stati raggiunti seguendo le indicazioni di un mercato sempre
in evoluzione, che richiede elevate performance ma con soluzioni che rendano
più confortevole l’utilizzo del prodotto in tutte le circostanze.

An European standard (EN 13537) has been implemented to
easily determine the limit temperature of different sleeping bags.
This allows consumers to compare products with maximum
transparency. Rather than arbitrarily designating a temperature
rating, the new standard uses a scientific dummy clothed in a
base layer and socks to determine the actual COMFORT
temperature for a good night’s sleep. Consumers will find one
of this two different markings on all CAMP sleeping bags:
Temperature tested to EN 13537, identifies all the sleeping
bags that have been tested by a specialized and authorized
centre (Kansas State University).
Temperature rating in accordance with EN 13537, indicates
that the marked temperature on a sleeping bag has been
calculated by C.A.M.P.
A graphic has been developed to display three relevant
temperature ratings for every bag (comfort temperature, limit
temperature and extreme temperature):
• COMFORT temperature is based on a standard woman
having a comfortable night’s sleep (neither cold nor warm).
• LIMIT temperature is the lowest temperature for a standard
man to have a comfortable night’s sleep.
• EXTREME temperature is the lowest temperature before
health risk can occur.

individuando la temperatura COMFORT, la sola che ti permette di avere un
riposo ottimale, e aiutando così il consumatore finale nella scelta del
saccoletto che soddisfi le sue necessità. Su tutti i sacchiletto CAMP
troverete una di queste due diverse indicazioni:
temperatura conforme alla norma EN 13537, tutti i sacchiletto sono stati
sottoposti a test di temperatura da parte di un centro specializzato ed
autorizzato (Kansas State University).

Il filling power è la capacità della piuma
di rigonfiarsi e trattenere l’aria.
L’unità di misura del filling power è espressa in “cube inch” (pollici cubi).
Per testare il filling power, un’oncia (28 grammi) di piuma viene
compressa all’interno di un tubo con un peso pre-determinato.
Quando il peso viene rimosso la piuma si espande e il volume dello
spazio da essa occupato è misurato in pollici cubi (cube inch).
Più i singoli fiocchi sono voluminosi più elevato è questo indice.

TESSUTI / FABRICS
Araneum (20D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop - 35 g/m²): Costruzione downproof,
calendrato nella parte interna, finitura esterna W/R. Grazie al filo 20D molto
sottile (9000 metri pesano solo 20 grammi) questo tessuto è molto leggero
e più comprimibile (almeno il 50%) rispetto ai tessuti tradizionali. Molto
resistente con eccezionale traspirabilità. La costruzione Ripstop aumenta la
resistenza allo strappo.
Araneum (20D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop - 35 g/m²): Down proof by
construction, cire on backside, W/R finish. Due to the very fine 20D thread
(9000 meters weighing just 20 grams) this fabric is lightweight and more
packable (at least 50%) than traditional fabrics. High strength fabric with
exceptional breathability. The Ripstop version offers improved tear resistance.
Sheltex (30D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop): Costruzione downproof, cerato nella

While sleeping in a mummy shape, it is not uncommon to suddenly wake up when you change the
sleeping posture because of the reduced interior room. The Stretch line offers a good solution to this
inconvenient thanks to an elastic sewing thread which offers an additional 20% extension of the
available inner room.
In this way, you will be completely hugged by the sleeping bag and there won’t be unnecessary air
pockets and loss of warmth.

All the models of the Classic line have an envelope shape and are endowed with a pre-shaped hood
which offers a higher comfort and protection level.
The divided zip system offers a wide range of opportunities:
- the sleeping bags can easily be coupled;
- the feet area can be ventilated;
- a sleeping bag can be turned into a sort of blanket.
The three down-filled models in the line are reliable partners for recovering during the night or for a
rest during the day. They are available with different filling weight for different temperature zones.
Horizontally stitched down channels are equipped with H-baffles.
Classic line is ideal for every outdoor activity when weight and dimensions are not the main features

L’imbottitura PT-7 è ideale per sacchiletto sintetici: è adatta ai climi umidi e, oltre a non trattenere
l’umidità, questa fibra possiede ottime capacità termiche grazie alle sette cavità artificiali che la
compongono.
Anche la costruzione della parte superiore a due strati è particolare: uno strato di imbottitura è fissato
al tessuto esterno con distintive cuciture quadrate, mentre l’altro è fissato al lining interno tramite
cuciture orizzontali. In questo modo si riducono al minimo i punti freddi, ottenendo così un ottimo
rapporto prezzo-performance (valori confermati anche dai test termici effettuati).

The technical features of the PT-7 filling are ideal for synthetic sleeping bags: this 7-hole-fibre has
excellent thermal properties; it doesn’t retain humidity and is thus suitable for damp environments.
The top part has a particular 2-layer construction: the upper filling is sewn to the outer fabric by means
of a square stitching, while the lower filling is fixed to the lining by horizontal stitching lines. In this way
we reduce cold spots to a minimum, and the thermal test reports confirm excellent values and a superb
price-performance ratio.

Lo schienale è irrigidito da due stecche metalliche ed una lastra in PE interna
e viene mantenuto in flessione dalla speciale struttura a rete molto leggera e
traspirante con la quale la schiena è in contatto.

all’impiego di soluzioni tecniche innovative, fanno della linea Snow Stop
una proposta completa ed adatta a tutti i livelli di utilizzo. I tessuti Ripstop
utilizzati offrono il giusto compromesso tra leggerezza/resistenza/volume,
e la loro tripla spalmatura in PU garantisce una elevata impermeabilità.
Cavetto in acciaio o fettuccia gommata sono i due diversi sistemi di
fissaggio completamente regolabili ed intercambiabili che equipaggiano
i modelli. La soluzione impiegata permette una facile sostituzione dei
particolari usurati. Chiusura frontale o laterale, doppio velcro o cerniera
garantiscono una facile e veloce indossabilità.
I seguenti modelli Snow Stop sono completi di sacchetto custodia in
Nylon/rete: Tech, Regular, Rip Front e Shorty.
Sono inoltre disponibili in due taglie i modelli: Tech, Regular, Rip Front,
Refront e Trek.

trekkers and weight conscious alpinists, to frequent users and iceclimbers who need heavy-duty gear: your need will be totally satisfied by
our wide choice of Ripstop fabrics. Both regular and lightweight models
take advantage of the winning combination of resistance and lightness
offered by Ripstop fabrics. The triple polyurethane coating of our fabrics
guarantees maximum waterproofness. Fasten your instep strap: Two
different fastening systems, fully adjustable: either a plastic strap or a
heavy-duty steel cable, according to the model. They can be easily
replaced after being worn. Stay dry inside: both front or side closures are
available. We are using waterproof zips, regular zips o double-sided
Velcro to shut the snow out and secure the gaiter on your leg. Carryaround: Snow Stop are easy to pack and carry with the carrying bag
included for models: Tech, Regular, Rip Front e Shorty.
