“THE SPECIALIST"
Genova Start Time -Se nel Motocross i vertici quasi si toccano, nel Supercross l’America è davvero ancora lontana.
Molto lontana. Le competizioni sono intense, tirate, spettacolari e per questo la tecnica è diversa, anzi diversissima
dal Motocross. I piloti si preparano quasi esclusivamente per il Supercross, per correre in grandi stadi davanti a
60.000 spettatori a gara! Un grande pubblico per un grande budget.
Così, come ogni anno da ben trentasei edizioni, gli appassionati possono ammirare questi “Specialisti” americani
del Supercross in azione proprio a Genova, dove la tradizione sembra non avere fine.
Genoa Start Time – While in Motocross the top seems to be close, in Supercross America is still far away. Very
Far. Competitions are intense, fast, spectacular and for these reasons the skill is very different from Motocross.
Riders training is exclusively for Supercross, to be raced in front of 60.000 spectators per event! A great public for a
huge budget.
As every year happens since thirty-six editions, all the Italian fans can watch such American Supercross
“Specialists” acting in Genova, where tradition seems never ends.
Dopo Eli Tomac e Justin Barcia, incorsi verso metà stagione in infortuni, che li hanno costretti a modificare tutti i
piani di allenamento e ne hanno di fatto precluso la partecipazione alle gare europee, ci saranno altri tre piloti dal
futuro pieno di successi, pronosticabili dal recente passato ricco di vittorie a livello giovanile: Cooper Webb , Broc
Tickle e Justin Bogle, ovvero i tre nuovi grandi nomi del Supercross. Giovani che fin’ ora si sono distinti per la
grande “manetta” e per il loro talentuoso coraggio: degli spericolati top riders in grado di ripetere le gesta di chi li
ha preceduti sotto la cupola del PalaFiera di Genova.

distintosi anche a livello di motocross mondiale, correrà con la sua Yamaha Factory, fatta arrivare appositamente dagli U.S.A., per diventare
Re di Genova, non certo per fare presenza!

Broc Tickle
A contrastarlo ci sarà quindi Broc Tickle, dal Team RCH Suzuki Factory. Originario del Michigan, Campione 2011
della Lites West AMA SX, è stato definito “Enfant Prodige” di quella stessa stagione dal gota americano del
Supercross. Nonostante sia velocissimo nei tempi e dotato di grande tecnica, nel 2015 non è riuscito a raccogliere
quanto il suo potenziale gli consentirebbe. Verrà per vincere: ci ha dichiarato che per lui il 2016 sarà la stagione
della consacrazione ed a partire da Genova vorrà dimostrare tutto il suo valore.
A brand new challenger will be Broc Tickle, from Team RCH Suzuki Factory. Coming from Michigan to be the 2011
Champion of Lites West AMA SX, he has been considered “Enfant Prodige” of that season by the American
Supercross experts. Nevertheless he is fast and very skilled, during 2015 he didn't reach to gain as everyone

Justyn Bogle
Appena confermata invece è la partecipazione di Justin Bogle, dall’Oklahoma, il vincitore del campionato Lites
East Coast AMA SX nel 2014. Già riconfermato sulla 450cc. del Team Geico Honda per la stagione 2016, in pratica
al posto di Tomac, vuol sicuramente dimostrare di essere all’altezza del suo predecessore.

Justin Brayton
Torna in Liguria dopo aver vinto le edizioni 2009 e 2012, il “coriaceo, tignoso e grintosissimo” Justin Brayton, in
sella alla sua KTM ufficiale, fatta arrivare direttamente dall’Austria: non molla mai, e per lui l’Europa è terra di
conquista. Infatti ha già vinto sia a Bercy che a Ginevra, oltre che a Genova…dove vuole raggiungere il record di 3
vittorie: mai nessuno c’è riuscito!
The “brave, firm and fighting sprinter” Justin Brayton will be back in Liguria after his victories of 2009 and 2012,
racing with his KTM factory, brought directly from Austria: he never lets go, and for him Europe is a land of

Kyle Chisholm
Un altro americano, fresco di conferma, e pronto a sbarcare a Genova, è Kyle Chisholm (Kawasaki), uno dei
privati più esperti, veloci e grintosi del Supercross a stelle e strisce: ‘Pro’ da più di dieci anni nei vari campionati
AMA (SX e MX), e già vincitore di Bercy nel 2011 e di altre gare SX in giro per l’Europa. Durante la sua stagione di
gare, non rinuncia mai a venire nel vecchio continente per essere protagonista: quando scende in pista non molla
mai e corre sempre al massimo, un vero guerriero del supercross.
Another confirmed American rider, ready to land in Genoa, is Kyle Chisholm (Kawasaki), one of the most
experienced, fast and fighting private rider of the US Supercross: ‘Pro’ since more than ten years racing all the AMA
championships (SX and MX), and already winner of Bercy in 2011 and of other SX races around Europe. During
every sport season, he wants to compete in European races as protagonist: when he is on track he always fights
and gives his best, a real Supercross warrior.

affrontare l’arduo compito di tenere alti i nostri colori in una gara così ricca di top-riders, a loro non mancano né la
grinta né il talento, che negli ultimi anni hanno perfezionato esclusivamente nella tecnica degli ostacoli artificiali,
con prestazioni di livello internazionale. Avranno bisogno di tutto il supporto del tifo italiano, che siamo sicuri non
mancherà.
Finally, in the Superclass class the Italian colors will be well represented by the two most known “Specialists”:
Matteo Bonini (KTM GBO Sports) and Angelo Pellegrini (Suzuki AL Motorsports). They will face the hard
challenge to keep high the Italian flag in a race so rich of top-riders, they don’t miss courage and talent, that grew
up in the last years exclusively in the skill of artificial jumps, through performances at international level. They will
need all the support from Italy, and we are sure it won’t be missing.
