THE COMPANY
SCIROIDEA S.p.A. was funded in Genoa, Italy in July 2004. Notwithstanding
its recent constitution, SCIROIDEA avails itself of a very qualified team of
experts who have been working together in another company since over a
decade, thus cultivating and developing that precious team-shared know-how
which enriches and strengthens the actual position of SCIROIDEA on its target
market.
SCIROIDEA, through its skilled human resources as well as their professional
experience, offers a significant technical and scientific know-how and expertise
in the fields of technological research, product design and development.

MOTORS
Professional tool for the integrated electromechanical
simulation of railway, metro rail, light rail, tramway and
trolleybus vehicles, either fed with DC or AC.
The use of the integrated electrical and mechanical
simulation allows to analyse various phenomena affecting
the running of the convoys and the electric variables profile
of the supply network, like for instance:
to study the electrified transport system in conditions of
real use (mutual interactions mechanical / electrical
variables);
to take into account the traction curve variations of the
locomotives in function of the value of the pantograph
voltage and current

SCIRONET
Professional tool for the simulation of operating railway and
metro rail networks
The tool simulates the interaction between the trains running
and the signalling system on a network infrastructure based
on an interconnected set of lines, allowing:
• to verify the operation of railway and metro rail networks
• to verify and optimise the convoy running and timetables
• to evaluate the traffic capacity of lines and line junctions
• to analyse the effects of possible line and/or signalling
modifications or faults
• to analyse the effects of traffic disturbances
