ome si è avvicinata alla Programmazione Neurolinguistica?
Mi occupavo di nuove tecnologie per l’intrattenimento come computer e videogames e mi sono accorta che gestire
relazioni professionali con interlocutori provenienti da ogni parte del mondo, riconoscerne usi, costumi e comportamenti
diversi stava diventando una passione. Così ho acquisito le certificazioni di Master Pratictioner in Programmazione
Neurolinguistica (PNL) e Pratictioner in “Time Line Therapy”, iniziando a proporre corsi a realtà pubbliche, private e a
singoli clienti.
Pnl. Ci spiega di cosa si tratta?
La PNL sviluppa la nostra capacità mentale, così da agire con consapevolezza. Come suggerisce Paul Watzlawick, non si
può non comunicare e questo significa che la comunicazione è nella vita di tutti i giorni e non si può evitare. Comunicare
con efficacia vuol dire capire i bisogni altrui, comprendere chi ci circonda ed esprimersi in modo adeguato.
Nota un crescente interesse nei confronti della Comunicazione?
Direi di sì, soprattutto grazie alla facilità di apprendimento e al successo nell’applicazione quotidiana. I partecipanti
sono affascinati dallo scoprire che sono in possesso delle risorse per stare meglio e per rapportarsi efficacemente con
gli altri.
Un’occasione in cui la comunicazione l’hai aiutata?
Mi trovavo in Inghilterra alla ricerca di sviluppatori di giochi. Le software house dei primi anni 80 erano spesso formate
da ragazzi che si organizzavano in spazi improvvisati. Mi è capitato, ad esempio, di incontrare dei programmatori in
un fienile e il loro generale atteggiamento di fronte a una donna italiana è stato spesso caratterizzato da imbarazzo e
sospetto. Ma l’entusiasmo che ho espresso attraverso il linguaggio verbale e comportamentale li ha convinti.

ow you approached the NLP?
I was working on new technologies for entertainment like computer and video games, and I realized that managing
professional relationships with speakers from all over the world, recognize habits, customs and behaviors was becoming
a passion. So I acquired the certification of Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Practitioner
and in “Time Line Therapy”, and I started to offer courses in public organizations, private and individual customers.
NLP; Could you explain what is it?
NLP develops our mental capacity, so as to act with awareness. As suggested by Paul Watzlawick, one can’t not
communicate and this means that communication is the life of every day and you can’t avoid it. Communicate effectively
is to understand the needs of others around us, understand those around us and express ourselves properly.
Do you see an increased interest in Communication?
I would say yes, especially with the ease of learning and success in the daily use. Participants are fascinated to discover
that they have the resources to get better and to relate effectively with others.
An occasion on which the communication helped you?
I was in England looking for game developers. The software house in the early 80 were often formed by guys who were
organized in makeshift spaces. It happened, for example, to meet the programmers in a barn and their general attitude
to an Italian woman was often characterized by confusion and suspicion. But the enthusiasm that I have expressed
through verbal and behavioral convinced them.
