Realizzazione dischetto
Da effettuare solo in caso di ricezione del file di aggiornamento tramite posta elettronica o Internet

Creare un Disco di Avvio con sistema Operativo Windows 98 o inferiore (Comando Ms-Dos:
FORMAT A: /s
Eseguire il file Vdt_xxx.exe: verranno copiati i files di installazione nel Disco di Avvio
precedentemente preparato

Collegare alla scheda 1092 un lettore Floppy Disk
Inserire il Disco di Avvio nel drive A:
Spengere ed accendere la scheda
Terminata l’installazione spengere la scheda e rimuovere il dischetto
Nota: in caso di mancato avvio del lettore floppy effettuare le seguenti operazioni

Collegare alla scheda 1092 una normale tastiera da computer
Spegnere e accendere la scheda. All’accensione entrare nel Setup premendo il tasto Delete
Selezionare ADVANCED CMOS CONFIGURATION e premere ENTER
Impostare la voce Seek Floppy at Boot su Disabled
Uscire dall’ADVANCED CMOS CONFIGURATION premendo Esc
Selezionare WRITE TO CMOS AND EXIT e premere Enter
Rieseguire la procedura a partire dal punto 2.2

Diskette preparation
To do only in case of reception of the upgrade file from e-mail or Internet download

Create a System Diskette with Windows 98 or lower OS (Ms-Dos command: FORMAT A: /s
Run Vdt_xxx.exe file: the installation files will be copied in the System Diskette previously
prepared

Connect a Floppy Disk drive to 1092 PCB
Insert the System Diskette in the drive A:
Switch-off and switch-on the machine
When the installation is completed, switch-off the machine and remove the diskette
Note: in case the floppy reader does not work, please do the following operations

Connect a normal computer keyboard to 1092 PCB
Switch OFF and ON the board. Press Delete key at the startup to enter into the Setup
Select ADVANCED CMOS CONFIGURATION and press ENTER
Set the item Seek Floppy at Boot as Disabled
Press Esc to exit from ADVANCED CMOS CONFIGURATION
Select WRITE TO CMOS AND EXIT and press Enter
Restart the procedure from the point 2.2
