Apre domani il media center per i giornalisti accreditati al VII Incontro
mondiale delle famiglie
Apre domani, lunedì 28 maggio, dalle ore 12, alla Fieramilanocity (via
Gattamelata, 5) il media center per i giornalisti accreditati al VII Incontro
mondiale delle famiglie. 350 postazioni di lavoro, box radio e tv, un help
desk dedicato e un ufficio stampa sul posto consentiranno ai giornalisti di
seguire tutti i momenti dell’incontro internazionale e di ricevere
tempestivamente le informazioni necessarie al loro lavoro.
Ricordiamo che negli orari di apertura della sala stampa è possibile
ritirare gli accrediti.
Il media center è collocato al primo e al secondo piano degli spazi
fieristici, dove avrà anche luogo il Congresso pastorale teologico
internazionale (30 maggio-1 giugno), cuore dell’evento. Dal media center
partiranno anche le navette che accompagneranno i giornalisti negli altri
luoghi in cui si svolgerà il VII Incontro mondiale, compresi quelli che
prevedono la presenza del Pontefice. Tutti i principali momenti pubblici
del Santo Padre saranno ripresi a cura dell’organizzazione e trasmessi in
sala stampa in diretta via satellite. Inoltre nella sala stampa si terranno
quotidianamente le conferenze stampa e qui i giornalisti potranno
incontrare i colleghi dell’ufficio stampa.
L’accesso al Media center è in via Gattamelata 5, Milano e rispetterà i
seguenti orari:

Gli spazi di lavoro sono stati organizzati tenendo conto delle diverse
esigenze. Al primo piano sono stati allestiti i box radio e tv cui hanno
accesso solo i colleghi accreditati e che hanno preventivamente fatto
richiesta di uno spazio di lavoro attrezzato per la gestione del segnale
audio/video. Al secondo piano si trova la sala stampa attrezzata con 350
postazioni di lavoro composte da: tavolo, sedia, presa per corrente
elettrica (schuco). Su entrambi i piani è assicurata la copertura Internet
in modalità wi-fi. (le password di accesso sarà comunicata all’arrivo nel
media center).
Al secondo piano, in sala stampa, sono tuttavia previste anche una decina
di postazioni di lavoro complete con PC portatile e collegamento via LAN
per i colleghi che fossero sprovvisti di scheda wi-fi.
Sempre in sala stampa sono presenti postazioni di stampa (gestite da
personale dell’organizzazione) dedicate a consentire la stampa per i
colleghi che ne avessero necessità. A tale riguardo, per minimizzare
l’impatto ambientale dell’evento, l’organizzazione propone a tutti i
giornalisti accreditati di usufruire il più possibile del sito web
family2012.com, dove nella sezione dedicata “sala stampa”
http://www.family2012.com/sala-stampa saranno disponibili tutti i
contributi audio/foto/video dell’evento nonché tutti i comunicati stampa,
le bio dei relatori e qualsiasi altro materiale di interesse per i giornalisti.
Servizi giornalistici
Ogni giorno, da martedì 29, presso la Sala Silver, ossia la sala ove sono
collocati i 350 banchi della sala stampa, si terrà una conferenza stampa.
Già da domani saranno comunicati gli orari e i contenuti di ogni
conferenza attraverso un servizio di informazioni quotidiano a cura
dell’Ufficio Stampa. Inoltre, per informazioni di natura giornalistica è
disponibile un help desk presso l’ufficio stampa (mentre per qualsiasi
informazione di tipo organizzativo, logistico o tecnico è a disposizione un
ufficio accoglienza posto al primo piano alle spalle dei banchi accredito).
Altri servizi
Nella sala stampa è attivo all’interno del media center un servizio
bar/ristoro (a pagamento) aperto tra le 9.00 e le 19.00.
Gli unici parcheggi riservati sono a disposizione dei mezzi di regia che
hanno richiesto un’apposita autorizzazione. Nei pressi della fiera sono
disponibili diverse aree di parcheggio, generalmente a pagamento.

Tomorrow opening of the media centre for accredited journalists at
the VII World Meeting of Families
It is going to be opened tomorrow, Monday 28th May, at noon, at
Fieramilanocity (via Gattamelata, 5): it’s the media centre for accredited
journalists at the VII World Meeting of Families. 350 work stations, box
radio and tv, with a dedicated help desk and a press office that will
enable the journalists to follow all the moments of the international
meeting and to receive timely information for their work.
During opening times of the press room, it will be possible to receive the
accreditation.
The media centre is placed on the first and second floor of the Milano
Fair, where also the International Theological Convention, which is the
theoretical heart of the event will take place (30th May-1st June). The
media centre is also the point of departure of the shuttles that will carry
the journalists to the other places of the VII World Meeting, included
those with the Holy Father. All the main public appearances of the Pope
will be recorded by the organization and broadcasted in the pressroom by
satellite. Moreover in the pressroom there will be daily press conferences
and here is where journalists will be able to meet the colleagues of the
press office.

Work stations have been organized according to the different needs. On
the first floor there are radio boxes and tv only for the colleagues with
accreditation and who already asked for these stations in advance. On the
second floor there is a pressroom with 350 workstations made of: table,
chair, light socket (schuco). On both floors wi-fi is available (with
passwords that will be communicated on arrival).
On the second floor, in the pressroom, there are also about 10 complete
work stations with portable PC and LAN connection. In this regard, to
lower the environmental impact of the event, the organization asks all
journalists to use as much as possible the “Press Area” on
www.family2012.com, where all audio/video/photo contributions will be
available together with press releases, bios of the speakers and all the
relevant material for journalists.
Services for journalists
Every day, from Tuesday 29th, in the Silver Hall, the one where the 350
desks of the pressroom are, there will be a press conference. Already
tomorrow exact time and contents of each conference will be
communicated from our Press Office. Beyond that, for information of
journalistic quality, a help desk is available in the press office (whilst for
every technical and organizational information you should address the
reception desk on the first floor close to the accreditation desk).
Other services
In the press room a café/restaurant is available between 9 and 19.
The only reserved parking is for those television channels that required
the in advance the neccessari authorization. Close to the fair there are
several parking areas, generally not for free.
