At 08.00 transfer by private bus from Vittorio Veneto to Conegliano train station. Departure by train to Venice St.
Lucia (2nd class return train ticket included). Arrival in Venice and meeting with the tourist guide (2-hour visit) for
a walking tour, to enjoy the highlights of Venice but also to delve deeper into its culture. You will admire the Rialto
Bridge, you will proceed passing by Marco Polo's house and hearing about the Venetian son who went to sea
one day and came back with stories of China and a world in the East that few had ever seen. You will see lively
Campo San Luca and Campo San Giovanni Paolo where locals carry out their daily lives in the shadow of
spectacular architecture. Just as you started with a pop you will end our tour with a bang visiting Piazza San
Marco. You will strand in front of the impressive Doge's Palace where Venice famous lover and writer, Casanova
was held in an attic prison before he managed to escape. Then it's on to the main event- the stunning Basilica of
San Marco. Free time for shopping and private visits. During the afternoon, return to Conegliano by train and to
follow by private bus to Vittorio Veneto.
