Uno spazio non convenzionale dal concept intellettuale nel cuore di Milano.
64 camere, classic, relax, well being e deluxe sintetizzano due filosofie solo apparentemente
distanti: l’estrema funzionalità hi-tech di impronta minimalista e l’atmosfera calda e intima
degli ambienti realizzati con materiali ricercati e innovativi come l’ardesia a spacco,
l’ottone brunito, il cemento e il ferro, i vetri garzati, gli specchi usurati a mano e gli
arredi realizzati ad hoc, su progetto di Vincenzo De Cotiis.

64 rooms, classic, relax, well being e deluxe combine two philosophies which are unlikely but
successful partners: extreme hi-tech functionality with a minimalist feel and the warm, intimate
atmosphere of rooms designed with elegant, innovative materials like quarry-rough slate,
burnished brass, concrete and iron, gauze-effect glass and mirrors aged by hand, along with
furnishings specially designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis.

materiali dai molteplici riferimenti
a correnti artistiche contemporanee come l'Arte Povera, mentre il
modo di trattarli appartiene a una
metodologia progettuale profondamente legata all'etica/estetica
che deriva dal riutilizzo e dalla
ricollocazione in nuovi contesti, di
oggetti e componenti di recupero".

La sala eventi, situata di fronte al ristorante ed alla hall al piano terra dell’
hotel, propone un’ ulteriore estensione
degli spazi comuni dell’albergo dedicati anche ad eventi quali mostre d’arte e vernissage, cocktail ed inaugurazioni, shooting fotografici. Attrezzata
con megascreen per proiezioni video e
conferenze, è adatta anche per servizio
show room, grazie alla modulabilità
ed originalità dell’arredo ed al cambio
cromatico dello schermo.
The events room, situated in front
of the restaurant and the hall on the
ground floor, further extends the
hotel’s communal spaces that are also
dedicated to events such as art shows,
openings, cocktails and photo shoots.
Equipped with a mega screen for
video projections and conferences,
it is also adapted for use as a show
room thanks to the modulation and
originality of the furniture and to the
screen’s chromatic changeability.

Bar STRAF ha un’atmosfera densa ed emozionante ed
offre un accurato servizio bar & restaurant all-day-long.
L’ambiente, dal suggestivo impatto decorativo,
avvicina elementi artistici come i pannelli in vetroresina
riciclata e gli arredi di recupero originali anni ‘70. La
colonna sonora privilegia una selezione musicale
eclettica: un mix di suoni vintage per la versione
diurna, più viva e vibrante dal tramonto in poi. Bar
STRAF é frequentato da una clientela eterogenea e
variegata, sia internazionale che metropolitana. Lo
street happy hour si prolunga fino a sera inoltrata
proponendo happening a tema con musica dal vivo
e dj set. Durante la stagione invernale il brunch domenicale è un appuntamento fisso che si interrompe
d'estate lasciando il posto ad un menù à la carte.
Bar STRAF has an intense and exciting atmosphere;
it offers meticulous all day bar and restaurant
services set in an attractively decorated ambience
where artistic features such as recycled fibreglass
panels and original 1970s furnishings are brought
together. The music is an eclectic combination of
vintage sounds for the daytime with more lively and
vibrant tracks from dusk onwards. Bar STRAF is
patronised by both local and international clientele.
The lively happy hour extends late into the evening
offering theme nights with live music or a DJ set.
Sunday brunch is a fixed appointment throughout
the winter months though it finishes for the summer leaving the menu à la carte to take its place.
