Azienda Company
Dal 1983 ad oggi con alla guida il suo fondatore e
attuale Presidente Enrico Pensini, l’azienda SIEL
ha superato grandi traguardi volgendo costantemente
il suo sguardo al futuro, ampliando e rendendo sempre
più efficaci le proprie tecnologie, ramificandosi in tutto
il mondo per raggiungere nuovi clienti. Inizialmente
specializzata nella progettazione e produzione di UPS,
l’azienda trova la sua sede ideale nel 1990 a Trezzano
Rosa, Milano.
Since 1983, under the leadership of its founder
and current Chairman Enrico Pensini, SIEL has achieved
important targets, constantly aiming to the future,
extending its technologies and making them increasingly
effective, expanding worldwide to reach new customers.
Initially specialising in the design and production
of UPS’s, the company found its ideal headquarter
in 1990 in Trezzano Rosa, Milan.
La serietà ed affidabilità di SIEL ha permesso
all’azienda di ottenere a nel 1995 la certificazione
alla normativa ISO 9001 - sistema di gestione
della qualità. Gli anni di grande sviluppo e produttività
la portano nel 1997 a collaborare con Malpensa 2000
con la fornitura di UPS per l’HUB, dove tutti i prodotti
vengono dotati degli innovativi semiconduttori
di potenza IGBT.
Thanks to its precision and reliability SIEL obtained
the ISO 9001 - Quality Management System certification
in 1995.
In 1997, SIEL started to collaborate with Malpensa 2000
supplying UPS equipped with innovative IGBT power
semiconductors.
Nel 1991 nasce Siel Energy System, UK,
la prima azienda ad occuparsi della distribuzione
e manutenzione di UPS Siel nel territorio e mercato
anglosassone. Gli anni successivi vedono
lo sviluppo della gamma di grande potenza UPS,
con l’introduzione dei circuiti di controllo
a microprocessore, e una nuova direzione
da aggiungere fra i target: il mercato delle
telecomunicazioni.
In 1991, Siel Energy Systems UK was founded,
the first company to take care of the distribution
and maintenance of Siel UPS’s in the UK territory
and market.
The following years saw the development of the range
of high power UPS’s, with the introduction
of microprocessor control and a new segment
to be added to the target markets: telecommunications.
Nel 1999, SIEL conquista il primato con unità singole
fino a 1000 kVA e acquisisce SIAC, produttrice
di elementi per corrente continua. L’anno successivo
fa il suo ingresso nel campo delle energie rinnovabili
con gli efficaci inverter SIAC Soleil, sviluppati
per le applicazioni fotovoltaiche. 5 anni dopo quel
primo passo nel mondo dell’energia pulita, SIEL
conquista il mercato internazionale del fotovoltaico
con i suoi inverter trifase.
In 1999, SIEL was the first to produce 1000kVA UPS
in a single cabinet and acquires SIAC, a DC components
manufacturer.
In The following year SIEL entered the renewable energy
field with the efficient SIAC Soleil inverters, developed
for photovoltaic applications. 5 years after that first step
into the world of clean energy, SIEL conquered
the international photovoltaic market with its three-phase
inverters.

Proseguendo il suo impegno nella creazione di energia
rinnovabile, nel 2006 SIEL fonda insieme ad altri soci
Assosolare, associazione nazionale che rappresenta
l’industria solare fotovoltaica, unitasi poi nel 2013
con Aper nella grande realtà di Assorinnovabili.
Continuing its commitment to the generation
of renewable energy, in 2006 SIEL, together with other
members, founded Assosolare, the national association
representing the solar photovoltaic industry in Italy,
which in 2013 merged with Aper to create Assorinnovabili.
Nel 2007 SIEL crea la linea Wind Wave, una nuova
gamma di inverter che fanno entrare l’azienda
nel mondo della produzione di energia eolica.
In 2007, SIEL created the Wind Wave line, a new range
of inverters that marked the company’s entry in the world
of wind energy generation.
Nel 2008, il capillare lavoro di SIEL e la sua speciale
assistenza le riconoscono il grande traguardo di 100
MW di potenza installati in tutto il mondo.
In un solo anno, SIEL presenta il nuovo rivoluzionario
sistema Plug&Play, Soleil PS1000, e doppia il risultato
dell’anno precedente, raggiungendo 200 MW
di potenza installati.
In 2008, SIEL reached 100MW of total installed
PV inverters.
In just one year, SIEL presented the new revolutionary
Plug&Play system, Soleil PS1000, and doubled
the result of the previous year, reaching 200 MW
of installed capacity.
Nel 2010 vede la luce Soleil 10 TL ed entra nella nuova
frontiera delle energie rinnovabili con l’applicazione
di nuove tecnologie con i sistemi termico fotovoltaico
e microcogenerazione civile a fuel cell. SIEL porta
la sua crescita su un nuovo livello con la nuova linea
di prodotti Soleil HV TL e Sunsiel e raggiunge nuovi
mercati mondiali affacciandosi su un vasto numero
di Paesi: Romania, India, Sud Africa e USA entrano
a far parte dell’enorme rete dell’energia rinnovabile
di SIEL. Il quartier generale di Trezzano Rosa raddoppia
la sua superficie e si compone dei più avanzati criteri
logistici e organizzativi, con un’alimentazione
di 3 impianti fotovoltaici da 2, 18 e 80 kWp
per uno sviluppo marcatamente sostenibile.
In 2010, the inverter Soleil 10 TL saw the light and SIEL
entered a new frontier in renewable energies developing
new technologies such as thermal photovoltaic
and fuel cell civil micro-generation systems.
SIEL brought its growth to new heights with the new Soleil
HV TL and Sunsiel product line and reached new markets
worldwide, entering a vast number of countries: Romania,
India, South Africa and USA became part of the huge
network of SIEL renewable energy sources.
The headquarters of Trezzano Rosa doubled in size
and adopted the most advanced logistics
and organizational criteria, powered by a 100kW
photovoltaic system for a consistent sustainable
development.
Nel 2012 viene costituita Siel America, insediamento
produttivo nel New Jersey (USA), in cui viene prodotta
l’intera linea di inverter certificati UL per il mercato
americano.
In 2012, Siel America was founded, a production facility
in New Jersey (USA), in which the entire line
of UL certified inverters was produced for the US market.

Il 2013 è un anno ricco di novità per Siel,
che in Spagna, a Valencia, dà vita a Siel Energy
per andare incontro alle esigenze del target ispanico.
Nello stesso anno, gli eventi di grande successo
Intersolar a Monaco e Solar Power International
a Chicago ospitano la presentazione di uno nuovo
ritrovato della tecnologia Siel: IDROSOLEIL, l’inverter
fotovoltaico trifase progettato in modo da essere
abbinato alle elettropompe. Oltre a questo importante
lancio, Siel si fa spazio nel mercato con le novità
della linea Soleil DSPX, nuova serie PV-STRING BOX,
seguita dagli inverter di stringa monofase e trifase,
raggiungendo la piena soddisfazione delle esigenze
del settore.
2013 was a year full of new developments for Siel which,
in Valencia, Spain, founded Siel Energy to meet the needs
of the Spanish market.
In the same year, the very successful events of Intersolar
in Munich and Solar Power International in Chicago
hosted the presentation of a new Siel technology:
IDROSOLEIL, the three-phase photovoltaic inverter
designed to be combined with electric pumps.
In addition to this important launch, Siel made
headway on the market with the new Soleil DSPX line,
the new PV-STRING BOX series, followed
by the single-phase and three-phase string inverters,
fully satisfying industry requirements.
Il 2014 è caratterizzato da un’importante fornitura
destinata ad uno dei maggiori EPC per la realizzazione
di un impianto fotovoltaico da 36MW di potenza
situato nel deserto dell’Atamaca in Cile, e dallo
sviluppo di una nuova gamma UPS ad alta prestazione
con tecnologia Modulare per i grandi Data Center.
I traguardi degli anni precedenti sembrano un primo,
piccolo passo iniziale che ha dato il via alla creazione
di un gigante dell’energia.
2014 was characterised by an important delivery
to one of the largest EPCs for the construction
of a 36MW photovoltaic plant in the Atamaca desert
in Chile, and by the development of a new range
of high-performance UPS’s with modular technology
for large data centres.
The achievements of previous years appear
to be a first, small initial step towards the creation
of an energy giant.
Nell’anno 2015, dopo essere stata sottoposta
ad una verifica da parte della OST ENERGY - società
di consulenza tecnica nel settore delle energie
rinnovabili globalmente accettata da investitori
e banche a livello internazionale – SIEL ottiene
la “bancability” ed entra ufficialmente a far parte
delle imprese nelle quali investire senza rischi,
e che si contraddistinguono per la propria solidità
economica, la professionalità tecnica, produttiva
e l’affidabilità nella gestione dei clienti.
SIEL lancia sul mercato l’inverter SOLEIL DSPX
OUTDOOR per la realizzazione di grandi parchi solari
con inverter adatti ad applicazioni in esterno.

by OST ENERGY - a technical consulting company
in the renewable energy sector globally accepted
by investors and banks worldwide - SIEL obtained
“bankability” and officially became part of those
companies in which to invest without risk and which
are characterized by their financial solidity, technical
and production professionalism and reliability
in customer management.
