Fashion-minded visitors from all over the world, as from today there is a new address to
bear in mind for your stays in Rome: Fendi Private Suites is a uniquely refined and stylish
hospitality structure within a stone’s throw of the luxuries of Via Condotti.
In 1989, like other fashion brands, Fendi launched its own furnishing line, and just recently
it established its new headquarters in the famous Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana,
masterpiece of the 1930s Rationalist Style. Now it offers the most demanding tourists this
exclusive residence with seven bedrooms and ravishingly beautiful communal areas.
Its various spaces have been superbly restored and renewed by the architect Marco
Costanzi, projecting a timeless allure which conjures surprising but compelling dialogues
between antique and future-filled perspectives. Marble dominates, in four nuances
inspired by local traditions (rust coloured, Travertine, green and Pantheon white),
used on walls and combined with oak floors, antiqued mirrors and lace. The furnishings
from the Fendi Collections are complemented by modernist classics and pieces expressly
designed by Costanzi, the architect.

Il marchio, che già nel 1989 aveva lanciato come altri concorrenti una linea di arredamento
e da poco ha stabilito il proprio quartier generale nel famoso Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana,
capolavoro del razionalismo, offre ai turisti più esigenti questa residenza attrezzata con
sette camere da letto e spazi comuni d’imbattibile bellezza.
Gli spazi, recuperati con grande maestria secondo il progetto dell’architetto Marco
Costanzi, sono caratterizzati da un fascino senza tempo, che raduna in stretto dialogo
epoche passate e proiezioni future. A farla da padrone è il marmo, presente in quattro
nuances ispirate alla tradizione locale (color ruggine, travertino, verde e bianco Pantheon),
adoperato nei rivestimenti in accostamento con pavimentazioni in rovere, specchi anticati
e pizzi; gli arredi provenienti dalle collezioni Fendi sono stati accostati a classici del
modernismo e a pezzi appositamente progettati dall’architetto Costanzi.
