Description
This 150 km long trail goes along the four main valleys of Piacenza's Apennine, thus
meeting different traditions, cultures, history and genuine tastes. As to tastes, this
area offers a wide range of them: DOC wines, DOP cold meats and cheese, not to
mention the delicious dishes which, from first, second courses and desserts, seems to
fill the air with good smells and colours. Among first courses it is worth mentioning
panzerotti, tortelli con la coda, anolini, pisarei e faso and bomba di riso.
Among second courses: stracotto and brasato, the horse "picula".
Among desserts: ciambella, almond pie, castagnaccio and turtlitt.

How to get there
The trail goes through numerous roads: it is possible to follow the path on a bicycle or
by mountain-bike as the trail includes numerous sub-itineraries.
