The world’s biggest working quarry show
Quarry operators and other users of heavy plant and
equipment from all over the world will be made welcome at
Hillhead 2012 where leading international exhibitors will be
presenting the latest plant, equipment and materials. Set in
the rugged environment of Hillhead Quarry in England’s
Pennine Hills the showground covers some 140,000 m2
and includes outdoor displays, covered pavilions and
extensive working demonstration areas.

All action demonstration areas
One of the main objectives of the exhibition is to show the
latest equipment operating in normal site conditions. There are
three main demonstration areas at Hillhead: Quarry Face,
Rock Processing and Recycling. A rockpile is created before
the event to provide material for the face loading and rock
processing demonstration areas. Also, construction waste
and demolition material is imported onto the site for processing
in the recycling demonstration area during the three days of
the exhibition.

de présenter les derniers équipements en
conditions réelles d’exploitation. Il y a trois
aires de démonstration à Hillhead: extraction
des matériaux, traitement des matériaux
et recyclage. Un talus de roches est créé

Das Hauptziel der Veranstaltung
besteht darin, die Live-Demonstrationen
der neuesten Maschinen unter
normalen Steinbruchbedingungen
zu präsentieren. Hillhead bietet drei
Hauptdemonstrationsbereiche: Abbauwand,
Steinverarbeitung und Recycling. Ein
Gesteinshügel wird vor der Veranstaltung
erstellt, der das Material für Demonstrationen
zur Beladung an der Steinbruchwand und
zur Steinverarbeitung liefert. Des Weiteren
werden Bauschutt und Abrissmaterial zum
Standort gebracht, um dort während der
dreitägigen Veranstaltung im RecyclingDemonstrationsbereich verarbeitet zu werden.
Uno de los objetivos principales de la
exposición es mostrar el equipo más
avanzado funcionando en condiciones de
lugares de trabajo normales. Hay tres áreas
de demostración principales en Hillhead:
Pared de cantera, Procesamiento de roca y
Reciclaje. Antes del evento se crea una pila
de roca para proporcionar material para las
áreas de demostración de carga en pared de
cantera y procesamiento de roca. Además,
se importa al lugar material de construcción y
demolición para su procesamiento en el área
de demostración de reciclaje durante los tres
días de la exposición.
