con la Carriera di Boldi, un documentario attuale di produzione milanese sui labirinti del web, poi una mostra
carismatica e il focus dei cortometraggi, 30 piccoli grandi capolavori, da non perdere.

This year our program privileges Itally with two Italian premieres, it pays homage to our city with Massimo Boldi, Life
Achievement Award, it presents a current documentary on the web world produced by a Millanese production
company and shows an impressive photographic exhibition. Finally our tenth edition focuses a spotlight on short
films,masterpieces which you surely should not miss!

RENÈE ZELLWEGER RICEVE IL CAVALLO DI
LEONARDO A HOLLYWOOD
Il 30 di aprile , il MIFF Awards ha tenuto un evento speciale per rendere
omaggio alla vincitrice del premio di Miglior Attrice dello scorso anno Renee
Zellweger. L'attrice ha ricevuto il cavallo di Leonardo come miglior attrice
del 2009 per la sua spettacolare performance nel film My One and Only di
Richard Loncraine: alla proiezione è seguita una cerimonia di premiazione
svoltasi alla los Angeles Film School di Hollywood.
Oltre alla Zellweger, alla serata erano presenti il Console Generale per
l'Italia, Nicola Faganello e altre figure di rilievo come il Premio Oscar Martin
Landau, Tomas Arana e Francesco Quinn.
Il fondatore e direttore di MIFF Awards, Andrea Galante, ha dichiarato
"E` stata una grande delusione per noi quando l'anno scorso Renèe non ha
potuto essere presente a Milano per ricevere il premio. Per questo sono
contento che si sia riuscita a organizzare una serata speciale per celebrare
il suo talento e renderle omaggio con il Cavallo di Leonardo."
RENÈE ZELLWEGER RECEIVES LEONARDO'S HORSE IN
HOLLYWOOD
On April 30th 2010 MIFF Awards hosted a special event to highlight the
last year's Best Actress recipient Renee Zellweger. At a private screening
and award ceremony held at Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood she received Leonardo's Horse Award for Best
Actress 2009 award for her spectacular performance in the film My One and Only by Richard Loncraine.
Apart from Zellweger, the evening was attended by the Consul General of Italy, Nicola Faganello, Francesca
Valente, and other notable figures such as the Oscar Award Martin Landau, Tomas Arana and Francesco Quinn.
The founder and director of MIFF Awards, Andrea Galante, said that "It was a great disappointment to us last year
when we found out that Renee couldn't make it to Milan to accept her award. So, I'm very excited that we were able
to organize a special night to celebrate her talent and to honor her with the Leonardo's Horse Award."
AGGIORNAMENTI DA MILANO!
I Miff Awards anno trasformato le gallerie del centro in una piccola
Hollywood.
L'anteprima del film "Le Ultime 56 ore" di Claudio Fragasso, distribuito
da Medusa si è accesa alle 8 della sera creando una kermesse di
personaggi televisivi e milanes.
Il secondo giorno ha visto il red carpet di "Due vite per caso" dei
produttori Sauro e Anna Falchi con il party glamour del Just Cavalli.
Dopo il documentario Big Sister e l'inaugurazione della mostra fotografica
di Arash Radpour a La Casa del Pane, si attende ora il pezzo forte del
festival i corti candidati al Cavallo di Leonardo che durante il weekend
saranno proiettati allo Gnomo.

Miff Awards transformed the classic Milanese
downtown galleria in a small Hollywood Boulevard.
Claudio Fragasso's worldwide premiere "Le
Ultime 56 ore", distributed by Medusa kicked off at
8 pm with a celebrities kermesse.
The second day the red carpet rolled up again for
Italian premiere "Due vite per caso" from producers
Sauro e Anna Falchi with a glamorous party at Just
Cavalli Hollywood.
After documentary film "Big Sister" and
photographer Arash Radpour exhibition inaugural
vernissage at La Casa del Pane, now the best part
of MIFF Awards program, the short film Leonardo's
Horse Nominees which will be exhibited during the weekend at the Gnomo Theater.
