Preparazione dei supporti
Prima di applicare e lavorare MULTIDECOR by OIKOS si proceda ad una
adeguata preparazione della superficie, tenendo in considerazione che
le procedure variano a seconda del tipo di supporto. Intonaco civile o a
gesso: precedere alla rasatura delle pareti ed isolarle da eventuali macchie di fumo, grasso o colla utilizzando il fissativo acrilico CRILUX o
NEOFIX by OIKOS a pennello o a rullo. Legno: stuccare, carteggiare,
isolare con FUNDGRAP by OIKOS. Laminati plastici, alluminio e superfici non porose: sgrassare e carteg-giare le superfici, applicando successivamente il primer aggrappante FUNDGRAP by OIKOS. Metallo:
applicare NOVALIS ANTIRUGGINE by OIKOS e successivamente il primer
aggrappante Fundgrap by OIKOS.
Modalità di applicazione
Finitura Spatolato.
Applicare il prodotto diluito con un 5 ÷ 10% di acqua potabile con pennello o rullo, in modo uniforme, su una superficie di circa un m2 per
volta. Successivamente lavorare il prodotto con la speciale SPATULA by
OIKOS studiata appositamente per ottenere le varie decorazioni in funzione del lato utilizzato. Continuare l’applicazione di MULTIDECOR evitando di sovrapporre con il pennello il prodotto alla porzione già lavorata, fino al completamento della parete. Ad essiccazione avvenuta
dopo 6 ÷ 8 ore, è possibile applicare una seconda tinta di MULTIDECOR e ripetere la lavorazione ottenendo così un effetto policromatico.
Finitura Tamponato.
Applicare MULTIDECOR (pronto all’uso oppure diluito con un 5 ÷ 10%
di acqua potabile) con pennello o rullo in modo uniforme su di una
superficie di circa un m2 per volta e lavorarla con il TAMPONE by OIKOS
nel seguente modo: appoggiare il tampone sulla superficie, sollevare,
ruotare leggermente e proseguire nella lavorazione. Continuare l’applicazione di MULTIDECOR evitando di sovrapporre con il pennello il
prodotto sulle parti già lavorate, fino al completamento della parete.
Su superfici più ampie è possibile utilizzare lo speciale TAMPONE
17x17 cm o RULLO TAMPONATO by OIKOS. Ad essiccazione avvenuta,
dopo 6 ÷ 8 ore, è possibile applicare una seconda tinta di MULTIDECOR
e ripetere la lavorazione, ottenendo così un effetto policromatico.
Finitura Spugnato.
Versare una quantità adeguata di MULTIDECOR diluito con un 20% di
acqua potabile su di una tavolozza di legno e bagnarvi la speciale SPUGNA MARINA naturale by OIKOS.
Tamponare la superficie dopo aver scaricato l’eccesso di prodotto,
ripetendo l’operazione fino al completamento della parete.
È possibile applicare una seconda ed una terza tinta di MULTIDECOR
senza attendere la completa essiccazione del prodotto, ottenendo così
un effetto policromatico molto particolare.
Finitura Nuvolato-Guantato.
Applicare su parte della superficie delle macchie di più colori di
MULTIDECOR in ordine sparso, utilizzando il prodotto pronto all’uso o
diluito al max con un 5 ÷ 10% di acqua potabile.
- Effetto nuvolato: lavorare i vari colori con una spugna sintetica
piatta creando contrasti chiaroscuri che possano rappresentare l’effetto
di un cielo nuvoloso. La combinazione delle tinte, il colore di fondo e il
tipo di lavorazione in parete determineranno l’effetto finale desiderato.

Pennellato

- Effetto guantato: lavorare i vari colori con lo speciale GUANTO by
OIKOS creando sulla superficie un effetto non uniforme con toni
chiaroscuri. In base alla scelta delle tinte si possono ottenere contrasti
più o meno accentuati.
Finitura Pennellato.
Stendere MULTIDECOR non diluito con pennello o rullo su di una superficie di un m2. Con un pennello della misura desiderata accarezzare
leggermente il prodotto in modo da lasciare sulla superficie i segni
della pennellata. Continuare l’applicazione del prodotto e la sua lavorazione fino al completamento della parete. Ad essiccazione avvenuta,
dopo 6 ÷ 8 ore, è possibile applicare una seconda tinta di MULTIDECOR
e ripetere la lavorazione, ottenendo così un effetto policromatico.
Finitura Alonato.
Si può procedere con due modalità differenti.
Alternativa a): stendere, con un pennello, MULTIDECOR non diluito
direttamente in parete in strisce verticali avendo l’accortezza di lavorare piccole superfici alla volta e di alternare tra loro le strisce di diverso colore. Amalgamare i colori con SPATOLA inox by OIKOS fino a raggiungere l’effetto desiderato.
Alternativa b): porre sulla SPATOLA inox by OIKOS due o tre tinte di
MULTIDECOR non diluito e stenderle sulla parete con movimenti verticali dall’alto verso il basso. Ripassare successivamente con la spatola
senza prodotto dal basso verso l’alto così da uniformare l’applicazione
del materiale. Lavorare infine con la spatola sulla parete dall’alto verso
il basso per creare venature di colore che amalgamandosi tra loro formeranno un aspetto particolare ed originale.
Finitura Legnato-Moiré.
Stendere MULTIDECOR diluito con un 5 ÷ 10% di acqua con pennello o
rullo in modo uniforme.
Legnato: utilizzando lo speciale ATTREZZO ad EFFETTO LEGNATO by
OIKOS sul prodotto ancora fresco, procedere dall’alto verso il basso ruotando il polso per ottenere l’effetto delle venature e dei nodi del legno.
Moiré: utilizzando lo speciale ATTREZZO ad EFFETTO LEGNATO by
OIKOS sul prodotto ancora fresco, procedere dall’alto verso il basso
ruotando eggermente il polso senza chiudere il nodo del legno.
Finitura Gocciolato.
Diluire il prodotto con un 5 ÷ 10% di acqua potabile. Spruzzare
MULTIDECOR utilizzando la speciale AEROGRAFO GOCCIOLATO by
OIKOS o altro similare, purché dotato di emissione aria/prodotto e
regolatore di pressione così da evitare la polverizzazione della pittura.
Utilizzando ugelli con diametri diversi (2,5-3-3,5 mm) ed intervenendo sulla pressione dell’aria, è possibile modificare l’effetto gocciolato
fino a raggiungere quello desiderato. A tale scopo è consigliato procedere alle dovute prove con la propria attrezzatura al fine di trovare il
giusto rapporto prodotto/aria/ugello. Terminata l’applicazione è possibile spruzzare immediatamente con la stessa tecnica un’altra tinta di
MULTIDECOR, ottenendo così un effetto policromatico molto particolare.

Surface preparation
Before applying and working with MULTIDECOR by OIKOS proceed to adequately prepare the surface always considering that the procedure varies
according to the type of surface. Civil plaster or gypsum plaster: screed the
surface and following this, seal it from eventual marks of smoke, grease
or glue, applying by brush or roller, an acrylic sealer such as CRILUX or
NEOFIX by OIKOS. Wood: fill in any defects, sand down and prime using
FUNDGRAP by OIKOS.
Plastic laminates, alluminium and non porousd surfaces: remove any grease and thoroughly sand down the surface, follow this by applying the primer FUNDGRAP by OIKOS. Metal: apply NOVALIS ANTIRUST by OIKOS followed by the primer Fundgrap by OIKOS.
Application Method
Spatolato finish.
Evenly apply the product, diluted 5 ÷ 10% with drinkable water using a
brush or roller, covering approximately 1 m2 [10.76 sq ft] at a time.
Follow this by working the product with the special SPATULA by OIKOS that
has been especially created to give different decorative effects according
to which edge is used. Continue the application of MULTIDECOR avoiding
overlapping the areas already decorated until the whole surface is completed. Once dry, after 6 ÷ 8 hours, it is possible to apply a second colour
of MULTIDECOR repeating the same movements and thus creating a polychromatic effect.
Tamponato finish.
Evenly apply the product, diluted 5 ÷ 10% with drinkable water using a
brush or roller, covering approximately 1 m2 [10.76 sq ft] at a time.
Following this work the product using the TAMPONE by OIKOS in the following manner: dab the surface with the tampone turning the wrist slightly after each movement and proceed to complete the area. Continue the
application of MULTIDECOR avoiding overlapping the areas already decorated until the whole surface is completed.
On larger surfaces it is possible to use the special TAMPONE 17x17 cm
[0.56 ft] or TAMPONATO ROLLER by OIKOS. Once dry, after 6 ÷ 8 hours,
it is possible to apply a second colour of MULTIDECOR repeating the sammovements and thus creating a polychromatic effect.
Spugnato finish.
Pour a suitable amount of MULTIDECOR diluted 20% with drinkable water,
onto a clean panel. Dip the special NATURAL MARINA SPONGE by OIKOS in
the product. Dab the surface, after having squeezed out any excess product and repeat the operation until the whole surface is completed. It is
possible to apply a second and third colour of MULTIDECOR without having
to wait for the product to dry,thus obtaining a polychromatic effect.
Nuvolato-Guantato finish.
Apply on an area of the surface, various, random patches of one or more
colours of MULTIDECOR, using the product ready to use or diluted with a
maximum 5 ÷ 10% of drinkable water.
- Nuvolato finish: work the patches of the various colours, using a
synthetic sponge, thus creating light dark contrasts that can gìve the
appearance of clouds. The combination of the colours used together with
the colour of the base coat and the way the product is worked on the sur-
face, determine the desired final effect.
- Guantato finish: work the patches of the various colours using the special GLOVE by OIKOS thus giving the surface an irregular effect with light
dark contrasts. According to the colours chosen, it is possible to obtain
more or less accentuated contrasts.
Pennellato finish.
Spread using a brush or roller, MULTIDECOR un-diluted, over a surface of approximately 1 m2 [10.76 sq ft]. Using a brush of the desired dimensions, lightly caress
the surface in such a way as to leave the brush marks in the surface. Continue to
apply and work the product until the whole surface is completed. Once dry, after
6 ÷ 8 hours, it is possible to apply a second colour of MULTIDECOR repeating the
same movements and thus creating a polychromatic effect.
Alonato finish.
It is possible to work in two different ways.
Alternative a): spread using a brush, MULTIDECOR un-diluted directly onto the
surface in vertical stripes or random patches, working on a small area at a time and
alternating the colour used to make the stripes or patches. Blend the colours using
an inox SPATOLA by OIKOS until the desired effect is achieved.
Alternative b): put on to the inox SPATOLA by OIKOS two or three colours
of MULTIDECOR un-diluted, and spread onto the surface either in vertical
movements or in a random fashion according to the effect desired.
Following this, pass back over the surface using the trowel without any product on it in such a way as to even out the application of the material.
Working the surface with the trowel, creates veins of colour over the surface that blending themselves together, form a particular and original finish.
Legnato-Moiré finish.
Spread in a uniform manner using a brush or roller, MULTIDECOR un-diluted or diluted with a maximum of 5 ÷ 10% drinkable water.
Legnato: using the special WOOD FINISH TOOL by OIKOS whilst the product is still fresh, proceed to work the product from the top of the surface
to the bottom, changing the angle of the wrist during each pass in order to
obtain the effect of the veins and knots of wood.
Moiré: using the special WOOD FINISH TOOL by OIKOS whilst the product
is still fresh, proceed to work the product from the top of the surface to the
bottom moving the wrist during each pass but without completely finishing
the effect of the knots of the wood.
Gocciolato finish.
Dilute the product 5 ÷ 10% with drinkable water. Spray MULTIDECOR using the special AEROGRAFO GOCCIOLATO by OIKOS or any similar spray gun as long as it is able
to emit air/product simultaneously and as long as it has a pressure control thus
avoiding the pulverisation of the product. Using different sized nozzles (2.5-3-3.5
mm) [0.008-0.0098-0.011 ft] and regulating the air pressure, it is possible to modify
the gocciolato effect until the deisired finish is achieved. To insure the best results it is
advisable to effect a test with the spray gun to be used, in order to find the correct
ratioi between product/air/nozzle. Once the application is completed, it is
possible to immediately spray, in the same manner another colour of MULTIDECOR thus obtaining a particular, polychromatic effect.
