Il letto zero nasce dalla convivenza tra due forme pure: il cerchio e il
quadrato. il cerchio rappresenta fin dall’antichità il cielo e l’armonia. è
una linea di movimento che si chiude in se stessa, ha principio e fine.
la perfezione e può rappresentare il tempo: una successione continua
d’istanti, tutti identici gli uni agli altri, un divenire continuo come il giorno
e la notte. Il quadrato, simbolo della terra, in opposizione al cielo, e
antitesi del trascendente, esprime la stabilità. Il sodalizio di queste due
forme fa di zero un oggetto equilibrato ed importante, richiama un’idea di
movimento, evoca la coppia cielo e terra.

The zero bed is born from the combination of two pure shapes: the circle
and the square. The square, from ancient times, has always symbolised
the sky and harmony. it is a line of movement that finishes in itself and
has a beginning and an end. It is perfection and can represent time: a
continuous sequence of instants, all identical to each other, a continuous
becoming like night and day. The square, the symbol of the earth, in
opposition to the sky, is the anthitesis of trascendency and expresses
stability. The combination of these two shapes makes zero a balanced
and important item, transmits the idea of movement and evokes the earth
and sky.
Das Bett zero entsteht aus dem Zusammenleben zweier reiner Formen:
dem Kreis und dem Quadrat. Der Kreis verbildlicht seit der Antike
den Himmel und die Harmonie. diese Linie endet in sich selbst, sie
hat einen Anfang und ein Ende. Sie ist die Perfektion und kann die
Zeit darstellen: Eine unterbrechungslose Folge von Augenblicken, alle
identisch miteinander, ein ständiges Kommen und Gehen, wie der Tag
und die Nacht. das Quadrat, Sinnbild der Erde, drückt im Gegensatz
zum Himmel als Antithese des Transzendentalen Stabilität aus. Die
Vereinigung dieser beiden Formen macht aus zero ein ausgewogenes
und wichtiges Objekt, das an eine Idee der Bewegung erinnert und das
Paar Himmel und Erde heraufbeschwört.

le carré. le cercle représente, depuis l’antiquité, le ciel et l’harmonie.
c’est une ligne de mouvement qui se ferme sur elle-même, qui a un
début et une fin. C’est la perfection et il peut représenter le temps: une
succession continue d’instants, tous identiques les uns aux autres, une
suite continue comme le jour et la nuit. Le carré, symbole de la terre,
s’opposant au ciel et antithèse du transcendant, exprime la stabilité. Le
mariage de ces deux formes transforme le lit zero en un objet équilibré et
important, rappelle une idée de mouvement, évoque le couple ciel-terre.

La recherche de l’émotion
Il mio pensiero parte da un presupposto sostanziale: “emozionare”, osservo
paesaggi naturali e provo un “brivido” che scaturisce da un mix di elementi,
colori, proporzioni, spazi, suoni e profumi. Tutto ci porta a sentire il desiderio
di rimanere ad osservare per ore la natura, per trovare quella pace che
tanto cerchiamo, rifugiandoci dalle tensioni del quotidiano. La casa diviene
una sorta di ambiente magico dove tecnologia e sensazioni si fondono in
atmosfere che tendono a ricreare situazioni di benessere. Così progetto case,
una diversa dall’altra, ognuna con la personalità di chi le vive.
My point of view stems from a substantial objective: “to stir”, I observe natural
landscapes and a “shiver” moves my soul that springs from a mixture of
elements, colours, proportions, spaces, sounds and scents. Everything makes
us want to stop and observe nature for hours to find the peace that we are
looking for, to take refuge from the stress of daily life. The home becomes
a sort of magical environment where technology and sensations blend in
atmospheres that tend to recreate feelings of wellbeing. This is how I plan my
houses, each of which is unique and has the personality of those who live in it.
Mein Gedanke geht von einer grundlegenden Voraussetzung aus: „Erregung“,
vor einer Naturlandschaft stehen und ein gewisses „Prickeln“ verspüren, das
aus einer Mischung aus Elementen, Farben, Proportionen, Räumen, Klängen
und Düften entsteht. Das alles führt uns zum Wunsch, die Natur Stunden
lang zu beobachten, um auch jenen Frieden zu finden, den wir so unentwegt
suchen und um von den täglichen Spannungen Abstand zu nehmen. Das
Heim wird zu einer Art magischen Ambiente, in dem sich Technologie und
Empfindungen in einem Umfeld verschmelzen, das eigentlich immer an
Wohlbefinden denken lässt. So plane ich Häuser, die sich immer wieder
voneinander unterscheiden und die Persönlichkeit ihrer Bewohner annehmen.

paysages naturels et j’éprouve un “frisson” qui naît d’un mélange d’éléments,
de couleurs, de proportions, d’espaces, de sons et de parfums. Tout ceci
amène à ressentir le désir d’observer la nature pendant des heures afin
de trouver la paix que nous recherchons tant, en fuyant des tensions de
la vie quotidienne. La maison devient une sorte d’ambiance magique où la
technologie et les sensations se fondent dans des atmosphères qui tendent
à recréer des situations de bien-être. C’est ainsi que je conçois les maisons,
les unes différentes des autres, chacune avec la personnalité de celui qui les
habite.
