Band The “Big Gun tribute band” was born in June 2006 from the union of well trained and experienced musicians. It all started from the desire to recreate the magic of the shows of the Australian Iconic rock band AC/DC, at that time missing from the worldwide stages for more than 6 years. The success of this tribute band was immediate, thanks also to the vocal presence of the frontman, Corrado “the Voice” and the extraordinary soloist guitar. Since the beginning participation requests came from world famous biker festivals and Rock events such as: • Winter Biker Festival; • Ruote Sfonde 2005; • National Bologna and Ancona Biker fests for “Aquile della Notte” group; • Big-Fish Day; • “Moto Guzzi Italia” national biker fest; • Closing act of the Rookies Rock Festival at Arena Platina in Sarsina; • Riccione Harley Davidson group local Biker fest; • Ronco’n’Roll Trentino 2011/13. • Biker Bikini Benefit 2010/11. • Rock&Birra 2012 Viterbo. • Rock’n’Time Forlì 2013/14. • Geometrie Sonore 2014. • Pork’n’Roll 2014. The Band live activity extends to some of the most important Italian Rock clubs like Boulevard (Misano Adriatico), Café degli Artisti (Cesenatico), Blaster (Ancona), Velvet (Rimini), Roadhouse (Rimini), Eye Disco Club (Trento) ecc.... The Big-gun tribute band, besides reenacting faithfully and tracing the glorious musical steps of the iconic Australian band, offers a show which entertains and amuse the audit, especially those in love with the genuine 70’s hard rock sound. Corrado “The Voice” Peluso - Vox Voice starts his career as drums and percussion player but soon discovers his particular singing talent. At the age of 16 he began singing first as chorus singer and then lead singer. He performed over the bigger stages of central and southern Italy with different bands (Progetto Forte, i Cordon Blues e i Chiaro Scuro), playing soul, funky and R&B styles. One day, after his brother in law and musical mate placed a research ad for a band in the Rimini and S.Marino area, he was contacted by Route66 (AC/DC tribute band) for an audition. Voice participated unconvincingly, leaving nonetheless the band with their mouths open, for the similarity of his voice, compared to AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson’s one. So he starts recording many performances in the most important rock clubs of Emilia Romagna (Area 51 Riccione, Ghinea Pub Marina Ravenna, Boulevard di Misano, Transilvania di Milano e Bologna etc.....) and other shows during big Motor fests: Vicenza Biker Fest (with the participation of some comedians from Zelig TV show), Aquile della Notte Biker Fest in Forlì and in Massa Fiscaglia. After Route66 break-out, Voice and his Bass player assemble the Big gun Tribute Band and the rest is the present! Marco “Barbe” Barberini - Lead Guitar He starts learning guitar at seventeen, with a jazz teacher but...he did like the Rock!!!... he graduated in guitar playing at the Bologna Music Academy 2000, where he attended the Advanced and the Professional courses. There he had the opportunity to study with many teachers such as Giacomo Castellano, Roberto Priori, Max Ruggeri and many others, the opportunity to learn different styles, alternative ways of thinking music and perform it.. He attended seminars held by famous guitar players, such as Scott Henderson, John Petrucci, Jennifer Batten, Steve Trovato, Alex Diambrini, Andrea Braido, Paul Gilbert, Massimo Varini, Neil Zaza. He kept on attending the Music Academy 2000 for a further year with Giacomo Castellano (dedicating to the analysis of different styles, analyzing rhythmic and phrasings, particular techniques) then he studied with Corrado Cacciaguerra and followed recording lessons by Roberto Priori. At the moment he teaches guitar privately and he plays both live and studio sessions, working in his “Unleashed Project Studio” where he held seminars regarding sound effects and recording techniques. He is endorser for Schertler, Gato Strings, BRBS Amplification, Gato Strings, Shiva Audio Devices, D’Orazio Strings, MAMA pickups... At the age of sixteen he takes his fist guitar, an SG model by Eko and in the following years he understood that his definitive guitar was a Gretsch Jetfirebird. He plays for two years with the “Icebreakker” band and he collaborates with other bands in the Veneto region….and then….???? Present history...the call from Big Gun for the role of rhythmic guitar! Enrico “Enry" Raimondi - Bass Enrico was born on the 25 of May in 1981, in Rimini. At the age of ten, he starts learning classical guitar, pushed by his parent’s enthusiasm, resolving in a true disaster! At seventeen he decides to take back a musical instrument in hand, forming a band together with his three most loyal friends. He starts studying electrical bass guitar, supervised by teachers of great experience and technical knowledge, focusing on the main instrument techniques. In 2003 he was asked to join the Diatriba band to substitute the former bass player for the remaining live shows of the year. The relationship with the band consolidates and he plays in the band as the official bass player for the following two years. Meanwhile he joins the Route66 band, AC/DC cover band, playing during big biker fests and the most important Emilia Romagna clubs. In 2007 he enrolled at the G.Rossini Pesaro Conservatory, supervised by the teacher Mary Tonini, obtaining the license for solfége teaching. At the same time he starts attending jazz courses and teachers learning standards and improvisation. His musical style is influenced by numerous bass players who shaped the history of bass players. Jaco Pastorious, Larry Graham, Stanley Clarke, Carol Kaye, Victor Bailey, Francis Rocco Prestia, Patitucci, Victor Wooten, Stu Hamm, Billy Sheehan. Mattia “Burio” Burioli - Drum Mattia Burioli is a drummer, born and grown in Cervia, Romagna. He started studying in a Jazz school in Cesena, obtaining his degree at the Bologna Music Academy. His curiosity for musical styles and roots is fundamental for his artistic growth and in the years it influences his style. In the last years he has played in several live acts, in Italy and Europe. He is currently working with Big Gun, Gattamolesta, Caracoles, Playcold, Vasconvolti, The NJS Gospel Choir, The Grace, MadamaSoul, MB Hammond Trio, Marty Frida, Ochtopus, Claptonite blues band and as session musician. Tomas “Tommy” Righi - Bagpipe It all started when Marco Barberini(Angus) lent him “Paranoid” by Black Sabbath many years ago. Since then many afternoons passed trying to make an old and bent acoustic guitar play. Then there was the permanent switch to electric guitars. The step from “Toni Iommi” Gibson SG to the “Angus Young” one was short but its simple and direct style of playing left its mark. In 2002 he assembled the Invalnè band, together with two friends, his first and unforgettable band where he played (badly) a lot of music with much fun, finally recording some own song. He then played the rhythm guitar for a recent formed group playing emotional rock (when the EMO style was not mainstream, obviously) to understand that the EMO current was not his favorite one. In 2004 he played for a band called “Brain Damage”, named after the Pink Floyd Song, first and last serious group. In this group he played cover songs from Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Shed This Skin, Nirvana, The Who, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin... When this experience was over Tomas understood that this was not his main interest, while he was intrigued by amplifiers, sound effect and all that goes around them. . He started working on electric devices for guitars, modifying and building his own devices, reediting historical sound effects like fuzz, overdrive, distortion and boost. Today his production continues under the name “Overgain Experiment” with the building of amplifiers, electrical effects and guitars.
