BIOGRAPHY
Nati da un progetto di Marco Campitelli nel 1998, i MARIGOLD subiscono diversi
cambi di line-up, una metamorfosi che li porta alla formazione attuale: Marco
Campitelli (voce, chitarre, synth, 6 string bass, noises), Stefano Micolucci (basso),
Giovanni Lanci (batteria e percussioni).
La fiorente attività live e i primi demo li portano ad essere apprezzati da un pubblico
variegato e dalle più note riviste musicali. Nel 2002 partecipano alla compilation
“Rock e contaminazioni vol.1″ (con SUX!, One Dimensional Man), mentre nel 2004
avviene l'esordio per Black Desert Records con lalbum "DIVISIONAL"(seguiranno
nel 2004/05 circa 50 live dopo luscita delle.p.).
Nel 2007 viene realizzato "EROTOMANIA" (prodotto da Amaury Cambuzat – Ulan Bator - f a u s t) uscito per
DeAmbula Records. Fra il 2007/08 la band suona in Italia, Slovenia, Austria e Francia (al Festival Fugues con
Robin Guthrie) e nello stesso anno lalbum viene distribuito in Francia dalla DebruitEtDeSilence Records.
Nel 2009 viene realizzato il terzo disco della band, "TAJGA" (Acid Cobra, DeAmbula Records) prodotto
nuovamente da Amaury Cambuzat con la partecipazione di Daniele Carretti (Magpie, OfflagaDiscoPax). Nel
2012 l'apprezzato "tajga" viene ristampato con l'aggiunta dell’ E.P. intitolato "LET THE SUN" realizzato con la
collaborazione di Alessandra Gismondi (Pitch).
