INTENDED USE
Human serum containing human Ferritin antigen
concentrations suitable to calibrate determinations of
ferritin factor by turbidimetry method.

Siero umano contenente concentrazioni di antigene
Ferritina umana adeguate per la calibrazione della ferritina
mediante metodo turbidimetrico.
REAGENT – 3 vials containing 1 ml. Ready to use.
Human serum. Sodium azide 0.95 g/l.
REAGENTE - 3 flaconi da 1 ml. Pronto all’uso.
Siero umano. Sodio azide 0.95 g/l.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
The solution is stable up to the expiry date stated on the
label, if stored at 2-8 °C. Do not use the calibrator after
the expiry date.
Keep
the
calibrator
tightly
closed
to
prevent
contaminations during its use.
Presence of particles and turbidity is sign of deterioration.
Opened vials are stable for 30 days at 2-8 °C.
CONSERVAZIONE E STABILITA’
La soluzione è stabile fino alla data di scadenza riportata
in etichetta, se conservata a 2-8 °C. Non utilizzare il
calibratore dopo la data di scadenza. Tenere il calibratore
ben chiuso per evitarne la contaminazione.
Presenza di particelle e torbidità sono indice di
decadimento del reattivo.
Il flacone aperto è stabile per 30 giorni a 2-8 °C.

Bacterial contamination may cause reductions in the
stability of many components of the Calibrator.

To be used in turbidimetry assay according to the
instruction of each corresponding analytical method.

Da utilizzare in dosaggi turbidimetrici seguendo
istruzioni operative di ciascun metodo analitico.
ASSIGNED VALUES
Concentration value is stated on the label vial and it is
traceable to the “3rd International Reference Material for
Ferritin” 94/572 WHO (NIBSC).

Il valore di concentrazione è scritto sull’etichetta del
flacone ed è riferito al “3rd International Reference
Material for Ferritin” 94/572 WHO (NIBSC).
PRECAUTIONS IN USE
All reagents contain inactive components such as
preservatives (Sodium azide or others), surfactants etc.
The total concentration of these components is lower than
the limits reported by 67/548/ECC and 88/379/EEC
directives about classification, packaging and labelling of
dangerous substances. However, the reagents should be
handled with caution, avoiding swallowing and contact
with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
The use of the laboratory reagents according to good
laboratory practice is recommended.
The reagents from human donors have given negative
results to anti-HIV 1/2, HBsAg and anti-HCV. It is
recommended to handle with caution.
PRECAUZIONI D’USO
I reagenti contengono componenti inattivi, quali i
conservanti (Sodio Azide o altri), tensioattivi ecc. La
concentrazione totale di questi componenti è inferiore ai
limiti riportati dalle direttive CEE 67/548/EEC e
88/379/EEC sulla classificazione, confezionamento ed
etichettatura delle sostanze pericolose. Tuttavia i reagenti
vanno trattati con cautela. Evitare di inghiottire, evitare il
contatto con la pelle, con gli occhi e le membrane mucose.
Nell’utilizzo dei reagenti di laboratorio si raccomanda di
seguire le norme di buona pratica di laboratorio.
I reagenti ottenuti da donatori umani sono risultati negativi
a anti-HIV 1/2, anti-HCV 1/2 e HBsAg. Si raccomanda
comunque di utilizzarli con cautela.
