The Conference
The crisis we are currently facing has deeper roots, which are not only economic and financial. What kind of
possibilities and perspectives could the future bring to people, groups and organizations? The complexity and
uncertainty of the Italian and international social scenarios enhance the need to explore the hidden, “submerged”
aspects that stand at the origin of the crisis, enabling people to understand and to express their emerging needs
and motivations as individuals, groups and at work.
Thanks to the partnership with OPUS, ARIELE’s one-day conference aims to offer a new international
perspective for a psychosocioanalytical interpretation of change, increasing the understanding of new social
phenomena and inspiring people to take new attitudes in their professional and social realms. The Conference
will also be an opportunity for the development of an idea of “reflective citizenship”, through the sharing of
emotions, experiences and thoughts between the participants. Four main topics stand at the basis of the
Conference, as the drivers of change: individuals, communities, leadership, work.
Three different settings – plenary, discussion groups, parallel sessions – and the contribution of Opus’
representative Ph.D. Mark Stein will help participants to share and to debate their thoughts.
Who should attend?
People who are willing to better understand change in the social context and to find new stimuli for action in
their professional and social realms.

What is ARIELE
 Ariele, Italian Association of Psychosocionalysis – www.psicosocioanalisi.it - was founded in 1983 by Luigi (Gino) Pagliarani for
the promotion and development of a psychosocioanalytical perspective, through theoretical and practical tools that grounds on
individual and collective practices at work, into the organizations and within the social context. ARIELE:
• promotes training programs for individuals, groups and organizations,
• manages a three years Masters Program for Organizational Consultant (member of Assocounseling),
• collaborates on the publication of the Ariele’s Books, edited by Guerrini and Associates, and of the magazine Educazione
Sentimentale,
• organises research activities and Conferences (Ariele’s Talks).
