per Rondine Group
A new corporate structure for Rondine Group
La difesa e la promozione del prodotto “Made
in Italy” sono un altro cardine fondamentale
nella politica di gestione del gruppo, poiché
sinonimo e garanzia di qualità, innovazione e
design.
Nonostante il difficile momento storico
generale, i risultati del primo semestre 2012
del Gruppo Rondine sono in controtendenza
rispetto la media del settore, e in crescita
rispetto ai propri risultati ottenuti lo scorso
anno nello stesso periodo di riferimento.
Rondine Group, che nel 2011 ha tagliato
il traguardo dei 50 anni di attività, ha tre
stabilimenti produttivi dislocati nel distretto
ceramico e un organico di 300 dipendenti.
Lauro Giacobazzi (in foto) insieme al fondo di
Private Equity Progressio SGR, ha acquisito
la totalità delle azioni di Rondine S.p.a.

auro Giacobazzi e i componenti della
sua famiglia insieme a Progressio SGR,
importante operatore di private equity, già soci
di riferimento, hanno acquisito la totalità delle
azioni di Rondine S.p.A. e di Spray Dry S.p.A.,
nota azienda sassolese di produzione d’impasti
per ceramica.
Tale decisione, volta al rafforzamento della
propria presenza nell’azienda, in continuità con
la storia del gruppo, si basa sulla forte volontà,
dei soci stessi, di proseguire nel comune
progetto di crescita di Rondine sui mercati
internazionali, consolidando le radici territoriali
all’interno del distretto ceramico.
Una particolare attenzione è dedicata
all’ambiente, con l’attuazione di processi
produttivi virtuosi, che mirano costantemente
alla realizzazione di prodotti eco-compatibili.

Company, Lauro Giacobazzi and his
family, together with Progressio SGR , major
player in the private equity , have acquired
the full amount of shares of Rondine SpA
and Spray Dry SpA, well-known company in
Sassuolo that produces raw materials and semi
processed products for tile industry.
This decision has been taken in order to
strengthen their presence in the Company and
is based on the strong willingness of the shareholders to pursue the development
in the international markets, consolidating its
roots in the ceramic district.
Particular attention is dedicated to the
environment through the implementation of
eco-friendly production processes.

Italy” product , as synonymous and guarantee
of quality, innovation and design are main
targets of the management policy
In spite of the global economic crisis, first
quarter 2012 results are going against the
tile industry trend and are up on 2011 year
Company’s figures.
Rondine Group that celebrated its 50th
anniversary of foundation in 2011, owns three
manufacturing plants located in the ceramic
tile district , employing 300 people of staff.

e stimolano Ceramica Rondine, ogni giorno. Oggi nascono nuovi

E’ da questo studio continuo, per la realizzazione di prodotti sempre
più attuali, dall’alto contenuto tecnologico, che nascono il 34x68 cm.
e il 15x100 cm., formati estremamente rivoluzionari, poiché trovano il
giusto equilibrio fra ricercatezza estetica e praticità nella posa.
Il messaggio che arriva da queste nuove produzioni è certamente

Research, innovation and design are the elements which guide and stimulate Ceramica Rondine every day. Today we announce new formats to enrich
and complete our existing lines.
This continuous research into ever-more current and high-tech products has given rise to the completely revolutionary 34x68 format, perfectly balanced
between aesthetic refinement and ease of installation.
The message this new production sends out is certainly positive and highly vital for our company, which is ready to meet the ever-more demanding
requirements of this market.
There are three collections, MONOLITH, LUSERNA and MEDLEY, with fashionable and up-to date colours and decorations.

Nuova grafica per il logo
rondine
Oltre alla nuova struttura societaria, Rondine ha voluto
rinnovare anche il suo marchio principale, pur mantenendo
la grafica e lo stile tradizionali.
Oltre a “Ceramica”, al logo è stato aggiunto il pay-off
“italiani per stile” che racchiude in grafia gli elementi
classici dello stile italiano in una declinazione internazionale
della piastrella.

Rondine not only changed its corporate structure, but also the look of its main brand. The new logo is a restyling of the old now with a hint of news.
A pay-off has been added, “italiani per stile”, with a graphic sign that puts together the classic Italian style and the international word tile.

L’ANNUALE PARTITA DI CALCIO DI
RONDINE GROUP
APRE LE PORTE
ALL’ESTATE!
Come da tradizione, anche quest’anno, Rondine
Group ha organizzato l’annuale e oramai
celeberrima partita di calcio, che ha visto schierarsi
e sfidarsi due formazioni rappresentative dei due
brands dell’azienda: Rondine e Sadon.
Rondine e Sadon sono marchi di riferimento, a
livello mondiale, nella produzione e distribuzione
di gres porcellanato ad alto contenuto tecnologico.
Le due squadre hanno giocato, sfidando a testa
alta il caldo torrido di queste prime serate estive.
I giocatori sono stati selezionati dalle maestranze
che prestano lavoro nelle sedi di Rubiera, Vetto
e Sassuolo.
Immancabile il tifo dagli spalti da parte di tutto il
team dell’azienda, che ha incoraggiato i ragazzi in
campo.
La serata si è conclusa presso il ristorante Sider
Park di Rubiera dove, in una splendida cornice, si
è cenato e ballato fino a tarda notte.

FOOTBALL MATCH KICKS OFF THE
SUMMER!
This year Rondine Group staged their football
match, continuing an annual and by now
renowned tradition, seeing two teams take the
field representing two of the company’s brands:
Rondine and Sadon.
Rondine and Sadon are world-leading brands
in the high-tech production and distribution of
porcelain stoneware.
The two teams challenged each other, heads held
high, on a torrid early summer’s evening. The
players were selected from the skilled workers of
the Rubiera, Vetto and Sassuolo plants.
Unfailing support came from the whole company
in the stands, encouraging their boys on the field.
The evening was brought to a conclusion at the
Sider Park restaurant in Rubiera, where the eating
and dancing continued late into the night in a
splendid setting.

Rondine Group mette a segno un’importante pietra miliare, nel suo storico cammino di azienda leader
nella produzione di gres porcellanato ad alto contenuto tecnologico. Il gruppo Rubierese, già detentore
della maggioranza di Spray Dry, ha acquisito la totalità del pacchetto azionario di questa nota azienda
Sassolese, che vanta un’attività ventennale nella produzione di impasti atomizzati per ceramica.
Un ulteriore sviluppo e rafforzamento per Rondine Group, che negli ultimi anni ha raggiunto importanti
obiettivi di crescita.
La direzione di Rondine Group, ed il suo Presidente Lauro Giacobazzi, ringraziano la società Finesind della
famiglia Baroni, per l’attività svolta in questi anni, e per la professionalità dimostrata.
Rondine Group finalizes the
purchase of Spray Dry
Rondine Group has passed an important milestone in its historic journey as a leader in the high-tech
production of porcelain stoneware. The Rubiera, Italy based group, already holder of a majority share in
Spray Dry, has completed the purchase of the outstanding stake in this important company in nearby
Sassuolo, which boasts twenty years’ experience in the production of atomised ceramics mixes.
This represents a further development and reinforcement of the Rondine Group, which has met major
growth goals in recent years.
The management of Rondine Group, and its President Lauro Giacobazzi, thank the Finesind company and
the Baroni family for their years of work and the professionalism they have always shown.

Luserna, si aggiunge alle collezioni di Pietre di Rondine.
Luserna interpreta la semplicità e lo splendore dei materiali di un tempo,
adeguandosi, grazie alle ottime caratteristiche tecniche, ad ogni tipo di
ambiente, sia esterno che interno. Le varianti cromatiche disponibili
contribuiscono ad arredare con efficacia e morbidezza gli ambienti:
Cenere, che riprende il colore caratteristico della pietra e Grigio, creato

Thanks to our continuing study of the beauty and uniqueness of natural
elements, we have added this new collection, a revisitation, based on
Luserna Stone, to Rondine’s Stone collections.
Luserna interprets the simplicity and splendour of materials from times
past, adapting itself, thanks to its excellent technical characteristics, to any
type of environment, both indoors and out. The available colour variants
contribute to finishing environments effectively and softly: Ash, taking
its characteristic colour from the stone and Grey, designed especially to
create chromatic nuances when laid, thus making them unique, with great
visual effect and impact.

La collezione CLASS nasce dalla sapiente creatività e maestria del
dipartimento Ricerca e Sviluppo di Ceramica Rondine. Il team di ricerca
ha tratto ispirazione da un universo ricco e complesso come quello
delle pietre e dei marmi naturali. Ha saputo creare un unico prodotto,
altamente innovativo, per la sua bellezza e peculiarità. Una superficie
morbida al tatto che unisce la raffinata eleganza di un materiale di primaria
importanza come il marmo, alla corposità e semplicità della pietra. Un
mix di grafiche, declinate in colori moderni e di tendenza, come il nero, il
tortora e il bianco-beige. CLASS si presenta in due formati: il 60,5x60,5
cm. e l’innovativo 34x68. Alla finitura naturale, si affiancano il rettificato
e il suggestivo lappato rettificato, che esalta ancor di più la profondità
materica delle texture. Adatto sia per uso interno che esterno, a traffico
commerciale leggero.

This new series, which will be presented at Cersaie 2012, is an extremely
important project for Rondine, as it comes from the skilful and masterly
creativity of our technicians. Working with the rich and complex universe
of natural stone and marble, they have managed to create a product which
is unique and highly innovative in its beauty and distinctiveness. A surface
which is soft to the touch, combining the refined elegance of a material of
such importance as marble with the body and simplicity of stone. A mix
of designs, available in modern and fashionable colours like black, dove
grey and beige-white. Class is available in two formats, 60x60, 60.5x60.5
natural size but also rectified, as well as the brand-new 34x68 format in 3
versions: natural, rectified and lapped rectified.

The new Mythos line reproduces the look, feel and grain of real wood in
an incredibly realistic manner. Offered in 5 different colours, Brown, Azur,
White, Red and Beige, it will win its place in contemporary living spaces
thanks to the particularly silky and soft touch, the pleasingly earthy tones,
the suggestiveness of its intense chromatic nuances with light and dark
tones, and its always unique grains.
Rondine couples the best characteristics of porcelain stoneware to this

In order to style the NATURALIA collection, Ceramica Rondine’s
design started from the look of American walnut boards. Available
in 6 always current colours, Cream, Beige, Tobacco, Coffee, Nut,

The Old Navy wood collection represents the desire to offer a
ceramic parquet with a different evocative base. A viewpoint which
enhances aged, worn, faded wood, compared to the different
