Laser Doppler Vibrometry has matured to a reliable and performing non-contact
measurement technique which provides unparalleled performance in a variety of
application areas, which will be presented through various examples of recent
research activities.
In particular the following topics will be dealt with:

LDV for biomedical applications;
characterization of ultrasonic-probes by LDV;
on-line quality control by LDV;
NDT by LDV.
In June 2014 researchers in LDV will meet for the 11th time at the Int.Conf. on
Laser Vibrometry and Non-Contact techniques at Ancona.
