La Green Card T sono concepiti come un metodo sicuro per l'ambiente, con assenza di piombo, per il monitoraggio quotidiano delle
sterilizzatrici a vapore pre-vuoto per individuare: perdite d'aria, penetrazione del vapore inadeguata e/o guasti della pompa del
vuoto.
La La Green Card T è appositamente confezionata per l'uso in piccole sterilizzatrici a vapore pre-vuoto. La carta confezionata viene
posta in autoclave nella zona di più difficile sterilizzazione e la sterilizzazione è operata a un 3,5 minuti a 135 ° C.
La Green Card T è conforme alla EN 867-5.
The Green Card T Air Removal & Steam Penetration test are designed as an environmentally safe lead free method for daily
monitoring of tabletop pre-vacuum steam sterilizers to detect air leaks, inadequate steam penetration and vacuum pump failures.
The Green Card T is specially packaged for use in small pre-vacuum steam sterilizers. The pouched card is placed in the sterilizer in
the most difficult to sterilize area and the sterilizer is operated at a 3.5 minutes at 135°C sterilization cycle.
The Green Card T is designed to meet the EN 867-5.
Caratteristiche funzionali:
Se non vi è sufficiente presenza di aria nella camera di sterilizzazione dopo i cicli di vuoto, il vapore penetra al centro della carta di
prova e vira il foglio indicatore di colore uniforme verde. Se una piccola quantità di aria è presente, l'aria migrerà verso il centro

Performance Characteristics:
If no appreciable air is present in the sterilizer chamber after vacuums are drawn, the steam will penetrate to the middle of the test
card and turn the indicator sheet a uniform green color. If a small amount of air is present, the air will migrate to the middle leaving
the center of the card a purplish color rather than uniform green.
Color Change: Indicator Card – Purple to Green for complete change and no air leak

4. Confezionamento/Packaging:
La scheda indicatore è confezionato in modo da proteggere l'indicatore dalle condizioni di eccessiva umidità. L'anello metallico
fornito con ogni scatola di schede è collegata attraverso un foro in ogni busta. L'anello fornisce maggior peso, impedendo così
all'indicatore di essere soffiato all'interno della sterilizzattrice a vapore durante il processo.

The indicator card is packaged to protect the indicator from the excessively wet conditions. The metal ring provided with each box of
indicator cards is attached through a hole punched in each pouch. The ring provides added weight, thus preventing the indicator
from being blown around inside the sterilizer during steam insertion and vacuum pulses.

ISTRUZIONI PER L'USO
1. Lo sterilizzatore deve essere completamente riscaldato a temperatura di esercizio prima di eseguire il test anche se un breve di
ciclo"warm-up" viene eseguito prima di eseguire il test.
2. Montare il pacco test collegando l'anello di metallo, fornito con le schede indicatore, attraverso il foro sulla parte superiore della
busta Green Card T. L'anello fornisce peso per la carta e impedisce di essere soffiato all'interno dello sterilizzatore a vapore durante
il processo.
3. Posizionare il pacco test sulla griglia inferiore, vicino al luogo di scarico il più cool dello sterilizzatore vuoto. Assicurarsi che il lato
chiaro della busta sia rivolto verso l'alto.
4. Esecuzione di un ciclo di sterilizzazione a vapore di pre-vuoto per 3,5 minuti a 273 ° F / 134 ° C con una fase di essiccazione di
meno di cinque minuti. E’ anche accettabile anche senza essiccazione. Nota: lunghe fasi di essiccazione possono causare il viraggio
l'indicatore a colore marrone.
5. Rimuovere il test pack dallo sterilizzatore. Aprire la busta ed estrarre la carta verde. Conservare l'anello di metallo per un uso
successivo e gettare il sacchetto.
ATTENZIONE: Il pacchetto di test e l'anello potrebbe essere ancora caldo e deve essere maneggiata con cautela per evitare
scottature.
6. Esaminare la scheda immediatamente dopo l'estrazione dalla sterilizzatrice e registrare i risultati. Se non vi è sufficiente presenza
di aria nella camera di sterilizzazione dopo i cicli di vuoto, il vapore penetra al centro della carta di prova e vira il foglio indicatore di
colore uniforme verde. Se una piccola quantità di aria è presente, l'aria migrerà verso il centro lasciando il centro della scheda di un
colore violaceo, piuttosto che verde uniforme.
7. Girare la carta verde e compilare il retro con le informazioni richieste. Conservare la carta come registrazione del ciclo di
sterilizzazione.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. The sterilizer should be fully heated to operating temperature before running the test even if a short “warm-up cycle” is
performed before running the test.
2. Assemble the test pack by attaching the metal ring, provided with the indicator cards, through the hole on the top of the Green
Card T pouch. The ring provides weight to the pouch and indicator card and prevents them from being blown around inside the
sterilizer during steam insertion and vacuum pulses.
3. Place the test pack on the bottom rack, near the drain the coolest place of the empty sterilizer. Be sure the clear side of the pouch
is facing up.
4. Run a pre-vacuum steam sterilization cycle for 3.5 minutes at 273°F/ 134°C with a drying phase of less than five minutes. No
drying is also acceptable. Note: Long drying phases may cause the indicator to turn brownish in color.
5. Remove test pack from the sterilizer. Open the pouch and remove the Green Card. Retain the metal ring for later use and discard
the pouch.
CAUTION: The test pack and ring may still be hot and should be handled carefully to avoid thermal injury.
6. Examine the card immediately upon removal from the sterilizer and record the results. If no significant amount of residual air is
present, the indicator card will show a uniform green color change. If the card shows a purple color in the center, this indicates the
presence of residual air.
7. Turn the Green Card over and fill in the appropriate information on the back. Save the card for file records.
