The workshop will be held on the 14th of April 2014 at Grandi Stazioni Palace Conference Room,
Fondamenta S. Lucia – Cannaregio 23, Venice.
How to reach the venue of the event - Grandi Stazioni Palace:
From Marco Polo International airport (Venice)
From the airport you can reach the city center using public transport.
ATVO is an automotive service operating from 9 to 24 which connects the airport (bus departure
from arrivals terminal) to Piazzale Roma in about 20 minutes.
ACTV - bus n. 5: it is an automotive public service which takes about 25 minutes to get to Piazzale
Roma.
From Piazzale Roma
Cross the Constitution Bridge. Veneto Region Grandi Stazioni Palace is on the left (200 meters
distance).
From Venice railway station
Get out in the square in front of the railway station. Veneto Region Grandi Stazioni Palace is on the
right (100 meters distance).
Accomodation
Accomodation including breakfast is foreseen at NH Laguna Palace, viale Ancona, 2 Mestre (Ve).
How to reach the hotel:
From the railway station
The NH Laguna Palace is located about 1 km from Venezia-Mestre train station. Bus line 31
(operated by ACTV) stops in front of the hotel. Travel time is about 10 minutes.
From the airport
The hotel is located about 12 km away from Venice Marco Polo International Airport. You can take
bus line 15 (operated by ACTV), which stops close to the hotel (five-minute walk). Alternatively
you can take bus line 35B (operated by ATVO) which stops in front of the train station.
Dinner
The social dinner will be held on the 13th of April at 8.30 p.m at Hotel NH Laguna Palace
Restaurant.
