Barrel aging: 15 months (25% new French oak)
Varietal Composition: 90% Sangiovese, 7%
Canaiolo, 3% Colorino
Tasting Notes: Saturated ruby color. Blackcurrant,
sweet plum, graphite and smoky oak on the nose. Lush,
sweet and stuffed with ripe, dark fruits. This big, fleshy
wine offers superb palate coverage and an impressive
mounting finish featuring sweet, fine-grained tannins and
a compellingly creamy texture.
