sobrietà e la tecnicità che da sempre contraddistinguono
le proposte Italesse, che abbiamo deciso di affidare
al trio di architetti e designer svedesi Claesson Koivisto
Rune la realizzazione di alcune fantasie in grado
di vestire tumbler, calici e caraffe della nostra collezione.
Una richiesta – avvalorata dalla decennale esperienza
nella decorazione del vetro sviluppata per i grandi
marchi internazionali di champagne, vini, liquori –
che ha dato vita a quattro Patterns ispirati dal fluire
dei liquidi e dalle tante poetiche forme generate
dal contatto con il vetro. Gocce, rivoli d’acqua, bolle
e soffice schiuma hanno così delineato una collezione
di prodotti articolata che si completa con innovativi
runners e tovagliette all’americana realizzati in tessuti
tecnici presi a prestito dal mondo dell’arredo outdoor.
Lavorati a jacquard per un effetto materico e declinati
in quattro delicate nuances, i nuovi runners e le

Thinking of an emotional and funny product
that decorates with elegance, while maintaining
the sobriety and technical approach that has
always characterized Italesse items, we have decided
to entrust three Swedish architects and designers,
Claesson Koivisto Rune, with some patterns to
decorate tumblers, glasses and carafes of our collection.
Based on decades of experience in decorating glass
developed for great international brands of champagne,
wines and liquors, we are now launching four patterns
inspired by flowing liquids and the many poetic
shapes generated by the contact with glass. Drops,
water trickles, bubbles and soft foam characterize an
articulated collection of products that is complemented
by innovative runners and placemats made of technical
fabrics, which are borrowed from the outdoor
furnishing world. The new runners and placemats,
with a jacquard textured look and in four delicate colors,
match Pattern glasses by Italesse for dynamic, funny,
ever-different tables… simply FOR YOU!

professionali, Vinocchio deve ironicamente il suo nome e le sue
linee al naso del collodiano Pinocchio. Concepito per decantare
i vini rossi, Vinocchio consente di portare in tavola un prodotto
decorativo, dalla forte personalità capace di caratterizzare con
la forza del dettaglio anche le tavole più sobrie. L’imboccatura
dal taglio obliquo ferma-goccia, il supporto in materiale acrilico
e il Dropdown, sostegno per la corretta asciugatura del decanter,
completano questo prodotto icona della collezione Italesse.

features, Vinocchio ironically owes its name and design
to the nose of Collodi’s Pinocchio. Created to decant red wines,
Vinocchio enables the host to present a decorative product
at table, an item that stands out for its powerful personality,
whose strength of detail endows even the most sober tables
with personality. The mouth with an oblique drop-stopping
shape, the acrylic holder and Dropdown, the stand for correct
drying of the decanter, complete this icon product of the Italesse

Caratterizzato da una base basculante, Alavin è un decanter
“refrigeratore” che può essere lasciato libero di ruotare sulla tavola
per decantare vini rossi invecchiati o essere appoggiato sulla base
porta ghiaccio per servire il vino alla giusta temperatura anche
nelle estati più torride. Dotato di un tappo in acrilico trasparente
dalla forma esotica che ne preserva il contenuto, Alavin si completa
con il Dropdown, un soffice anello raccogli-gocce in silicone
nero che – una volta inserito nella base in acrilico – permette
di capovolgere la caraffa per una corretta asciugatura.

en Characterised by a swinging base, Alavin is a refrigerating
decanter that can be left free to rotate on the table to decant
matured red wines. It can also be placed on its ice-bucket base
to serve wine at the right temperature even during the warmest
summers. Fitted with an exotically shaped transparent acrylic
stopper that preserves the contents, Alavin is completed with
a Dropdown, soft black silicon drip ring that – once inserted onto
the acrylic base – allows the decanter to be upturned for correct
drying.

realizzata in cristallino – deve il suo nome e le linee ardite. L’angolo
della coppa che ricorda la pinna di uno squalo e la profonda picûre

Nato a Vigo (Spagna) Tomás Alonso si dedica alla carriera di designer
dall’età di 19 anni. Nel 2006 ha fondato lo studio di design collettivo
OKAY. I suoi lavori sono stati pubblicati ed esposti in importanti
gallerie quali il Design Museum, la Aram Gallery o la Whitechapel
Gallery a Londra. Recentemente è stato incluso nella collezione
permanente Design Museum di Londra.
Claesson Koivisto Rune è stata fondata da Mårten Claesson, Eero
Koivisto e Ola Rune nel 1995 a Stoccolma. Le loro creazioni vengono
prodotte da società internazionali fra le quali si contano Arflex,
Asplund, Boffi, Cappellini, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Iittala, Living

Todd Bracher è il fondatore del Todd Bracher Design Studio.
Nominato “America’s next Great Designer”. Dirige lo studio di design
di Tom Dixon a Londra, è professore di design all’ESAD (Francia),
co-fondatore della collaborazione sperimentale “to22”, oltre a Creative
Director del marchio di lusso Georg Jensen.
Carlos Tíscar (1964) si laurea alla scuola di arti applicate a Valencia.
Si occupa di progetti di abitazioni, contract, uffici, urbanistica
e oggetti per la casa. Ha insegnato disegno industriale presso: Barreira
(Valencia), AIMME (Paterna), and EsdiCEU (Alfara Del Patriarca).

Designer Todd Bracher is currently based in New York City,
he has been pinned as “America’s next Great Designer”. Heading Tom
Dixon’s London based design studio, acting as Professor of Design
at ESAD( France), cofounder of the experimental collaboration ‘to22’,
creative Director of the global luxury brand Georg Jensen.
Carlos Tíscar (1964), graduated from the school of applied arts
in Valencia. Currently realizes projects of home, contract and
Office furniture, as well as urban furniture and household objects.
He has given industrial design lessons at some schools and public
institutions: Barreira (Valencia), AIMME (Paterna), and EsdiCEU
