IGeS VISITA IL REGNO MAGHREBINO – MARROCO
- AFRICA SETTENTRIONALE.
Il Marrocco, ovvero "Regno maghrebino", è uno Stato
dell'Africa settentrionale, sito all'estremità più occidentale
della regione del mondo arabo denominata Maghreb.
Il Marocco si sta affermando come una delle maggiori mete
turistiche dell'Africa settentrionale, in particolare per quanto
riguarda il turismo organizzato, del quale se può enfatizzare
il turismo balneare con le spiagge atlantiche e mediterranee.
Il numero di turisti negli ultimi anni si valuta su poco più di 10
milioni (2013), la metà proveniente dall'Europa in testa
Francia, Germania e Spagna.
IGeS World ha visitato questo meraviglioso paese, ha condiviso il suo “expertise” nelle aree di
ingegneria, architettura, landscape e lascia un’offerta tecnico -economica per lo sviluppo di un centro di
vacanze turistico nella Costa Marocchina.

World sta offrendo servizi di ingegneria
strutturale e infrastrutturale con il componente di
sviluppo sociale.
Portare l'infrastruttura del Kenya fino al livello
dei paesi a reddito medio della regione potrebbe
aumentare di crescita annuale di oltre tre punti
percentuali. I piani di sviluppo del Kenya
includono miglioramenti significativi per strade, ferrovie, porti, aeroporti, acqua e servizi igienici, mentre il
paese cerca di aumentare la propria competitività nel mercato globale. (pwc)

più grande della regione di Africa orientale e centrale. Con sei principali proposte, il nome IGES comincia

Il governo della Repubblica del Kenya ha individuato la necessità di allineamento alle norme lastricate di
circa 2.000 chilometri di strade, quelle che sono destinate a sostenere i settori in crescita di Kenya:
Commercio, Turismo, Agricoltura e Produzione rurale, e industrie estrattive.
IGeS in collaborazione con la notevole azienda italiana del Gruppo Claudio Salini e il suo socio locale
idea Kenya Ltd ha presentato la Manifestazione di Interesse per lavorare in quattro lotti di questo
progetto. Il 26 giugno, nella lista delle società che erano qualificate per la gara, il nostro Consorzio era
primo in ordine di gradimento.
IGeS E LA RESPONSABILITÂ SOCIALE
IGeS, in associazione con Idea Kenya in Africa Occidentale e
APDES, ONG Peruviana in Sudamerica, ha avviato attività
nel campo dello sviluppo della responsabilità sociale orientata
all’avanzamento economico delle comunità rurali disagiate.
Con il suo team tecnico, IGeS offre consulenza negli studi di pre-fattibilità, e partecipa insieme a loro
nelle gare pubbliche per sviluppare orientamenti nel campo del mainstreaming della dimensione di
genere.

NIGERIANO – IL PERCHÉ
Nigeria è chiamata la "Gigante dell'Africa" a causa della
sua vasta popolazione e l'economia. Con circa 174 milioni
di abitanti, questo paese, è il più popoloso dell'Africa e il
settimo paese più popoloso del mondo.
Dal 2015, si stima che la Nigeria sarebbe la 20° economia
più grande del mondo, con un valore di più di $ 500
miliardi di dollari e 1.000 miliardi dollari in termini di PIL
nominale e di parità di potere d'acquisto, rispettivamente.
La Nigeria appartiene all’elenco delle economie "Prossimi
Undici” (anche N-11 o "Next Eleven"), gruppo di paesi con grandi investimenti e le prospettive di crescita
per

futuro.

IGeS VISITS the KINGDOM OF MOROCCO –
MOROCCO - NORTH AFRICA.
The Morocco, or the "Kingdom of Morocco", in the
Maghreb region, is located at the westernmost region of
the Arab world called Maghreb.
Morocco is emerging as one of the major tourist
destinations in North Africa. The Government Vision 2020
plans to make Morocco one of the top 20 tourist
destinations in the world and to double the annual number
of international arrivals to 20 million by 2020. With its
Atlantic and Mediterranean coast and beaches, Morocco
attracts visitors from Europe, half coming from France,
Germany and Spain.
IGeS World visited this wonderful country, shared his "expertise" in engineering, architecture, landscape
and leaves its technical -economic offer for the development of a tourist center in the Moroccan Coast

percentage points. Kenya’s development plans include significant improvements to roads, railways,
seaports, airports, water and sanitation, as the country attempts to increase its competitiveness in the

The Government of the Republic of Kenya has identified the
need to upgrade to paved standards approximately 2,000km of roads, the ones which are intended to
support the primary growth sectors of Commerce, Tourism, Agriculture and Rural Production, and
Extractive Industries in the country.
IGeS in partnership with the prestigious Italian firm Gruppo Claudio Salini and its associate Idea Kenya
th
Ltd submitted the Expression of Interest to work in 4 lots. On June 26 , topping the list, the Consortium
was shortlisted.
IGeS AND THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
IGeS, in association with the idea Kenya in West Africa and
APDES, a Peruvian NGO, in South America, has initiated
activities in the development of social responsibility aimed
at the economic advancement of the rural poor.
With its technical team; IGeS advices NGOs in pre-feasibility studies, and participates in public bids to
develop guidelines on gender mainstreaming.

MARKET – WHY?
Nigeria is called the "Giant of Africa" due to its large
population and economy. With approximately 174 million
inhabitants, it is the most populous country in Africa and the
seventh most populous country in the world.
