ALESSANDRA TARGA, arpa
Parallelamente agli studi umanistici, ha conseguito, con il massimo dei voti, il DIPLOMA DI ARPA
presso il Conservatorio “F. Venezze” di Rovigo nella classe di M.L. Cardin Fontana. Lo stesso
anno ha frequentato il CORSO ANNUALE di Arpa alla Scuola di Musica di Fiesole sotto la guida di C.
Antonelli. Nel 1989 ha ottenuto l’idoneità all’audizione per accedere al CORSO ANNUALE presso la
Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo dove si è perfezionata in Arpa con G. Albisetti
e J. Liber e per la Musica da Camera con H. Baumann, T. Friedli, R. Guiot, M. Bourgue e altri
docenti. Dal 1988 svolge intensa attività concertistica sia come SOLISTA che in FORMAZIONI
CAMERISTICHE spaziando dal duo al settimino (duo d’arpe, duo flauto e arpa, duo violino e arpa,
duo clarinetto e arpa, trio flauto, viola e arpa, quartetto di arpe, ecc.) in gruppi come Ensemble
CDVenezia (Cappella Ducale Venetia), Bilitis Ensemble, Solisti Orchestra Città di Ferrara. Si è
esibita in teatri e per importanti società concertistiche quali: Ravenna Festival, I Filarmonici di
Torino, Asolo Musica, Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, Amici della Musica, Festival Internazionale di
Musica di Torre in Pietra, MusicaRivaFestival, Tiroler Festspiele di Erl, Fesival Musicale
Internazionale di Aquileia, Palazzo Reale di Torino, Accademia Filarmonica di Messina, Camerata
Musicale Salentina, Ottobre Musicale Pescantinese, Festival Internazionale di Amandola, Festival
Internazionale delle Arpe (Im), Venezia Suona, Gioventù Musicale d’Italia, suonando il repertorio
più rappresentativo per arpa. Particolare attenzione va dedicata all’attività con il quartetto di arpe
White Harps’Quartet (ex Erato’s Harps) con cui svolge da anni un’intensa attività. Si è esibita in
varie sale italiane e estere (Germania, Austria, Grecia) anche accompagnate dall’orchestra
(Concerto per quattro arpe e orchestra di Bach-Vivaldi (trascr. W. Steinberg) e in PRIMA
ASSOLUTA Riflessi di F. Francia per quartetto di arpe e orchestra tenuto al Castello di Kufstein con
l’orchestra del Tiroler Festspiele di Erl diretta da Whilelm Keitel). Per questa formazione noti
autori italiani, tra cui Giorgio Gaslini e Fabrizio Francia, hanno espressamente composto e dedicato
nuove opere, tutte eseguite in prima assoluta. Collabora come PRIMA ARPA con molte orchestre
italiane: Teatro S. Carlo di Napoli, Orchestra Verdi di Milano con cui ha effettuato anche tournèe
all’estero (Germania, Francia, Svizzera), Orchestra dei Pomeriggi di Milano, Teatro Regio di
Parma, Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta, Orchestra Città di Ferrara, Orchestra Bruno Maderna. Ha
suonato sotto la direzione di I. Karabtchevsky, R. Chailly, Eiji Oue, G. Khun, B. Bartoletti, R.
Frühbeck de Burgos, R. Palombo, Massimo De Bernard e numerosi altri. Per quanto riguarda le
incisioni due sono i recitals con il quartetto d’arpe: “White Harps’ Quartet” per New Frontieres e
“Herato’s Harps Quartet” per General Records. Con il quartetto Herato’s Harps Quartet assieme
all’Orchestra del San Carlo di Napoli, dir. Kuhn, ha inciso l’Oro del Reno di Wagner per Arte
Nova. Per la Ermitage, Tactus e Discantica, ha inciso opere in prima assoluta di Claudio Ambrosini
(La Pandora Librante), Marco Tutino (Riccardo III), Giorgio Gaslini (Sprint), Matteo D’Amico
(Pictures).

She took the degree in harp at the Conservatory "F. Venezze” of Rovigo in the class of M.L. Cardin
Fontana with the highest grades. In the same year she attended the annual Music Harp School of
Fiesole under the leadership of C. Antonelli. In 1989 she accessed to the annual course at the Musical
School of high specialization of Saluzzo where she improved herself in harp with G. Albisetti e J. Liber
and for chamber music with H. Baumann, T. Friedli, R. Guiot, M. Bourgue and other teachers. Since
1988 she performed a concert activity both as a soloist and as part of chamber ensembles (duo of harp,
duo of flute and harp, duo violin and harp, duo clarinet and harp, trio flute, viola and harp, harp
quartet, etc.), in groups such as Ensemble CDVenezia(Cappella Ducale Venetia), Bilitis Ensemble,
Soloists Orchestra Città of Ferrara. She performed concerts in theaters and for important concert
societies such as the Ravenna Festival, the Turin Philharmonic, Asolo Musica, Theater Comunale of
Ferrara, Friends of Music, International Music Festival of Torre in Pietra, Musicarivafestival, Tiroler
Festspiele in Erl, International Music Festival of Aquileia, Palazzo Reale of Turin, Philharmonic

of Amandola, International Festival of Harps (Im), Venice Play, Jeunesses Musicales of Italy, playing
the most representative repertoire for harp. She performs an intense activity with the quartet of harps
Harps'Quartet White (ex Erato's Harps) . She performed in various Italian theaters and abroad
(Germany, Austria, Greece) and she was also accompanied by the orchestra (Concerto for four harps
and orchestra by Bach-Vivaldi (trascr. W. Steinberg) and ”Riflessi” of F. Francia for quartet of harps
and orchestra held at the Castle of Kufstein with the Tiroler Festspiele orchestra of Erl directed by
Whilelm Keitel). For this formation, some Italian authors, including Fabrizio Francia and Giorgio
Gaslini, expressly composed and dedicated new works. She collaborates as a first harp with several
Italian orchestras: Theater S. Carlo of Napoli, Orchestra Verdi in Milan, with which she has also
toured abroad (Germany, France, Switzerland), Orchestra of the afternoons in Milan, Theater Regio of
Parma, Veneto Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Città of Ferrara, Orchestra Bruno Maderna. She
performed concerts under the direction of I. Karabtchevsky, R. Chailly, Eiji Oue, G. Khun, B. Bartoletti,
R. Frühbeck de Burgos, R. Palombo, Massimo De Bernard and many others. Regarding the incisions,
two are the recitals with the quartet of harps: "White Harps' Quartet for New Frontieres and" Herato's
Harps Quartet "for General Records. With the quartet's Herato Harps Quartet and the Orchestra of San
Carlo in Napoli, dir. Kuhn she recorded the “Oro del Reno” by Richard Wagner for Arte Nova. For
the Hermitage, Tactus and Discantic she recorded works of Claudio Ambrosini (The Pandora
LIBRANTE), Marco Tutino (Richard III), Giorgio Gaslini (Sprint), Matteo D'Amico (Pictures).
