Robert Evans é un architetto newyorkese che
lavora nel suo studio a Manhattan da più 40
anni ed ha progettato per la maggiore edifici
negli Stati Uniti e in Asia. Questi lavori vanno
dalla classica casetta familiare agli spazi
urbani o edifici istituzionali di grossa scala.
Le sue opere uniscono le proporzione del
corpo umano con i moderni materiali edilizi
ed i metodi di costruzione sostenibili.
L´architetto Evans si é laureato alla scuola di
architettura presso l’universitá di Houston,
Texas, ed é membro dell´American Accademy
a Roma. Ha viaggiato molto in vari luoghi
d´Europa, dove é stato influenzato
dall´architettura classica degli scavi greci e
romani, le chiese di Borromini, e gli edifici
moderni di Aalto, Moretti e Scarpa.
Robert Evans is an architect who has
practiced in New York City for 40 years
and designed buildings throughout the
United States and Asia, These projects
have ranged from small single-family
houses to large-scale urban office and
institutional buildings. His buildings
emphasize the intimate scale of the
human hand and body, while utilizing
contemporary materials and sustainable
construction practices.
Mr. Evans graduated from the School of
Architecture of Rice University in
Houston, Texas, and is a Fellow of the
American Academy in Rome. He has
traveled extensively throughout Europe,
where he was influenced by classical
Greek and Roman ruins, the churches of
Borromini, and modern buildings by
Aalto, Moretti, and Scarpa.
