'Bachelor of Arts'). Dal 1879, 'College Fellow' al Trinity College; questo incarico, rinnovato nel
1885, nel 1890 e nel 1895, poi conferitogli definitivamente, resterà l'unico suo titolo accademico, se
si eccettua l'anno in cui pratica l'insegnamento di Antropologia Sociale a Liverpool (1907-1908).
