Tra presente e passato calpesto da giorni l’antica via carovaniera della Seta, Ipek Yolu in turco. Come in
passato, la Via si snoda tra paesaggi montani e agresti di stupenda bellezza. I caravanserragli sono
sostituiti da più moderne aree di servizio, mentre le carovane dei mercanti hanno ceduto il passo a
potenti camion carichi d’ogni mercanzia. Anch’io ho l’onore e l’onere di una piccola personalissima
carovana. Manco fossi il Papa, da giorni sono scortato letteralmente passo dopo passo dai mezzi dei
Jandarma (carabinieri turchi) e Polis (polizia). Sono stati incaricati dal governo turco di proteggere e
custodire il mio cammino, in seguito alla comunicazione del mio percorso da parte dell’ambasciata italiana
(sigg. Mora e Maggiore). L’ospitalità turca è nuovamente confermata: i gentili ufficiali ed agenti non mi
fanno mancar nulla, dal vitto, all’alloggio, (addirittura in caserma!), all’hamam (bagno turco). Il più delle
volte gratuitamente. Tra presente e passato procedo così su questo storico percorso, felice di questa
attenzione. D’ulteriore aiuto BisRocinante, il nuovo equipaggiamento, così che le fatiche siano un poco
alleviate. Un abbraccio a tutti da Amasya (Turchia). Marino redivivo nel Viaggio :)

belegaj. La karavanhaltejojn anstatauxigas pli modernaj haltejoj, kaj komercaj karavanaj malaperas: nun
grandaj kamionoj transportas varojn. Ankaux mi havas honore kaj sxargxe etan personan karavanon.
Kiel la Papo, cxiu-tage kaj pasxo post pasxo, Jxandarmaj kaj Policistaj auxtoveturiloj eskortas min. Turka
registaro ordonis protekti kaj prizorgi mian piediradon, post gxia komuniko fare de itala ambasadejo (soroj Mora kaj Maggiore). Turka gastameco denove konfirmigxas: la afablaj oficiroj, soldatoj kaj policistoj
cxion prizorgas: logxado kaj mangxoj (ecx en kazerno!), “hamam” (turka banejo). Ofte senpage. Meze de
estanteco kaj estonteco, dauxras mi laux tiu historia itinero, felicxa pri cxi-tia zorgado. Krome
BisRocinante, mia nova equipado, helpas min malplipezigi mian lacigxon. Mi cxirkauxbrakas vin cxiujn el
Amasya (Turkio). Marino revivada en sia Vojagxo :)

Between present and past I trample during these days the ancient Silk’s caravan route, Ipek Yolu in
Turkish. As in the past, the Way winds through mountain and rural landscape of magnificent beauty.
Caravanserais are replaced by modern service area, and merchants caravans let the place to big trucks
loaded of goods. Me too, I have the honour and responsability of a little personal caravan. Not even the

Pope, from days motor vehicles of Turkish Jandarma and Polis (police) escort me step by step. Their due
from Turkish government is protect and preserve my walking, that italian embassy comunicated them
(Messrs. Mora and Maggiore). Turkish hospitality is again confirmed: the kind officers gives me
everything I need, board and lodging (even in barracks!), “hamam” (Turkish bath). Mostly gratis.
Between present and past I’m going ahead on this historic way, happy about these cares. Still further
helps me BisRocinante, my new equipment, so that efforts are a little lightened. I hug you all from
Amasya (Turkey). Marino restored to travel’s life :)
